We have the technology in place now it would be an easy switch. It will get done , hopefully sooner than later. Before there's more mistakes. The electoral college actually detracts from a Republic. Republic is the framework of our government , democracy is the ideal it is based upon

Yep and massive opportunities for fraud. And the principle isn't a good one anyway so even if you could guarantee an accurate election, direct election is still inferior to the electoral system for reasons I've already elucidated and which you chose not to address.

MAGA folks seem to want to be disliked by those they disagree with. That does not apply to their MAGAmates.

What you got was something that does not describe the situation you wished it described. MAGA folks or whatever you call them, band together and look for acceptance as is normal in any social situation. They don't care if they are disliked by the left.

So, in trying to break this stuff down, I am of the opinion that you really missed the mark here.

I don't see many Martyrs. They tend to operate alone and without anything around them. That's not Trump people that I know of. Maybe Scott Jennings (who I don't watch), but I hear he really tears up the other side.....so I can see why they wouldn't like him.
