The Psychology of MAGA

I’ll ask again. Yes, a fetus is an unborn mammal. If a fetus is never a person, then abortion at any moment, even just prior to birth in the 9th month, shouldn’t be a problem for a pro-choicer. If that type of “abortion” disturbs you, then you need to revisit your idea about a fetus not being a person. If it does not, then you are indeed immoral.
The distinction about gaining personhood in Roe v Wade was made at point of viability.

If a fetus is a person from conception, then we currently have thousands of people frozen in liquid nitrogen deprived of all rights, which makes far less sense.

If we were to identify ourselves as MAGA and non-MAGA (which includes Americans across the political spectrum), perhaps we can all agree on one thing:

MAGAs appear to get enjoyment -- real enjoyment -- out of seeing non-MAGAs in some kind of distress over MAGA's actions. They cheer on Trump's constant insults and trolling, JD Vance's attacks on our former European allies, reactions to news of the rapid dismantling of the government, the release of violent Capitol criminals. They celebrate it.

So I got to wondering what this is, from a psychological perspective, and I asked Chat GPT (which is pretty freaking amazing if you haven't tried it) "is there a psychological term for a person who enjoys being disliked?"

Here's what I got:

Yes, there are several psychological concepts that could explain why someone might want to be disliked:
  1. Counterdependency – A defense mechanism where a person deliberately pushes others away or resists attachment, sometimes by behaving in a way that makes them disliked.
  2. Masochistic Personality Traits – Some individuals may have a subconscious desire to create situations where they are rejected or disliked, deriving a sense of validation or control from negative treatment.
  3. Rebellious or Oppositional Behavior (Oppositional Defiant Disorder - ODD) – Some people, especially in childhood or adolescence, may act in ways that provoke negative reactions as a way of asserting control or defiance.
  4. Self-Sabotaging Behavior – Rooted in low self-esteem or deep-seated beliefs of unworthiness, some individuals may seek out disapproval as a way to confirm negative self-perceptions.
  5. Inferiority Complex – A person with an inferiority complex may act in a way that provokes dislike as a means of reinforcing their own negative self-view.
  6. Schadenfreude-Seeking (Reverse Narcissism) – Some people enjoy being disliked because it gives them a sense of power or uniqueness, as if they are above social norms or expectations.
  7. Martyr Complex – A person with a martyr complex may subconsciously desire rejection or dislike to feel morally superior or to justify a belief that the world is against them.

Or we just enjoy watching President Trump destroy the Clown World that the left and even RINOs help build.

We don’t need psycho babble to explain why people are happy trannies are being kicked out of women’s sports, that clinics shouldn’t mutilate children, that illegal criminals are being deported, that dumb wars are being stopped, or that hundreds of billions of our tax dollars are being saved from the corruption and waste of the old establishment guard.

Of course, if you were in favor of all those things happening, it wouldn’t be a bad thing to visit a psychiatrist.

If a fetus is never a person, aborting a “fetus” just before birth would be completely justifiable. That seems to be the stance of the pro-choice folks. Most pro-life people aren’t absolutists and do support some point of viability.

The question is when life begins. Most of the world recognizes third trimester.

Why would anyone want to abort after this long unless the health of the baby and mother are at risk?
Exactly , less than 1% of abortions occur then. Most because of complications. Unfortunately some generic abnormalities don 't show up.until late in.pregnancy. These are the most painful abortions because most of these women actually wanted to bear children.. These women are also the ones victimized terribly by the anti-abortion crowd.making it even more unbearable.

Viability isn’t at 6 weeks when states are passing abortion restrictions.

You’ll find far more right wing absolutists on abortion than you will people who support elective abortion just before delivery.

Agreed , too bad they don't understand the need for abortion is not based on time but health and condition at this point. It is never convenient at any time.

So 8 months in healthy fetus is not a person? Has no soul? And if aborted its not taking a life?

That was one of the more interesting , but still sick , anti-abortion.propaganda pieces I've seen. There's way to.much of that misinformation out there.

America to be an Honest nation, Admit that both political party's have made many mistakes.
That everything messed up is NOT caused by one political party.
They've done a few things right. Grade D in my book. With F being complete failure. Extremism on both sides isa definite roadblock.

The old adage fighting fire with fire comes to mind. Democrats have been bold and boisterous for many years. Republicans have tended to express their concerns in a much more gentile, sophisticated manner, but would ultimately cave to avoid conflict. Many Republicans have learned from Democrats that sometimes they have to stick to their guns, even if that means being rude or confrontational.
Both party's have stuck to there guns on many occasions.
EVEN when they have been totally wrong.
The point of having different party's was to obtain some balance.
Party over country now seems the political goal.

A country doesn't end up in this condition due to the actions of one side alone. Once one end overcompensates and overcorrects, the other side does the same. Then it all just feeds on itself and spirals.

I don't know who started it, and I don't care. This can only be fixed by both ends now, and I don't see that happening any time soon.

You're joking right !

LOL , I have an excellent moral compass. You're the one who's all screwed up believing you have the right to interfere in other people's lives. You don't . Get over yourself. You are the one who is amoral.
You'd be right if you weren't completely wrong.

You believe it's okay to kill innocent human beings. Period. Full stop.

Leftism is a death cult.

"Science" doesn't say anything.
Wrong.

Biologists from 1,058 academic institutions around the world assessed survey items on when a human's life begins and, overall, 96% (5337 out of 5577) affirmed the fertilization view.
Run along now.
But a he's person. A fetus is not. Not until it's born. That's the point of the term "birth".
Human being. But leftists have always viewed the extermination of inconvenient humans as a good thing.

That's entirely fucked up.

I oppose fascism, too. That's why I voted against 4 more years of Democrat rule.
