The Poorest State in the US is Mississippi and is also a Rep State

As the state’s top corruption fighter, Mississippi State Auditor Stacey Pickering argued in an interview with Fortune that the study relied on old data and didn’t take into account the state’s anti-corruption efforts.

“This is dated material that goes back to 1976 until 2008, the year I was sworn into office,” said Pickering.

Red states want the Fed gov. out of their life's , except for their welfare checks. Maybe if they would raise taxes in their states, they wouldn't need fed funding, you know like Democrat states. Blue states are in a way supporting the Red states.

Most Red states are rural states. Farmers get ALOT of subsidies. Urban states have alot of tax revenue. The more you know
