You never heard of a hockey rink indoors? You should get out more! You never heard of NHL teams from the south? We even have a fairly decent team in Nashville. No frozen lakes around here for about 11 and 1/2 months out of the year and I wouldn't get on one the other two weeks. We even have a hockey rink here in my town.

It's not an exclusive activity to turn on the TV, fool. I got the Bruins in my town. You'd better damn well believe I watch hockey. Not religiously, but if they make the playoffs it's almost an obligation. The Beanpot tournament just recently wrapped up as well. My youngest son wants to give it a try next year, but I'm hoping to steer him toward wrestling like his older brother.

sucks he died, the WRC leader last I knew was this french dude

It was more cool with Audi was in it then it's was just subaru and peugeot

now it's toyota, hyudai and ford

well I'm a pens fan and when they are on I watch as many games as I can for the past 28 years or so

wrestling is much cheaper and if you like to grab men, that's your sport

Hockey. Sorry, but there is no real strategy there, just split second reflexes to random motions hoping you can capitalize on more lucky breaks than your opponent before the buzzer goes off.

I used to feel that way.
But I have changed my mind. The oilers used to be a thing of beauty to watch.

I love the game, but never was fond of watching it unless it was a really good game.
I liked to play it, boy is that some kinda past-tense.

There is a channel that used to play the Red Sox games, then later show just a 2 hour version, then just a one hour version. When my wife was laid up in the hospital after the difficult birth of my first son, we would watch all three of them every night we could.

Hockey also requires the stamina that no other sport does...Forwards on the ice for more than 20:00 a game are total studs.

Baseball pitchers are freaks of nature.....No amount of practice can make anyone throw a ball at 90 mph.

I sucked at little league baseball, so that was out but I always thought I could never stand in the box with a rock coming at you at 100 miles per hour. I would dive out or wait for a change-up and just step in front of a less deadly pitch. Either way I'd get rung up or carried out.

12 forwards and 6 D, 60 minute game, guess you suck at math as many D play 20 minutes and the top 2 lines fairly close as well

Yeah it is, and you don't have to get up before the crack of dawn to get to a rink for practice. And hockey parents are maniacs who would require me to use wrestling skills. Who needs that first thing in the morning?

me either, it's exhausting skating hard back and forth
if players cannot get off the PK for the entire 2 minutes
they get to the bench gasping for breath

hockey is a hard fast sport, that's what makes it so intense
oh and getting hit into the walls as well
