Lebron thinks he is the GOAT in the NBA. Do you agree with him?

WTF are you talking about? Most pro football players lose weight after tent retire.

No one can give Brady the "benefit of the doubt" in anything after "Spy-gate, Cell Phone-gate," & "Deflate-gate!" He just looks bad w/ little in the way of redemption no matter Giselle's argument against him being a selfish prick only concerned about himself over his family! :(:stir::rolleyes::oops:

If you have to call yourself the "G.O.A.T.," you're not.

Is that an in-direct quote from "Game Of Thrones?" :dunno: :p - Djokovic doesn't call himself "The GOAT" in TENNIS even though he owns all the top records, incl. 8 YE #1's, 428 wks. at #1, 24 Majors, 7 YEC's, a Nole-Slam, 2 Golden Masters, & 3 Career GS's! Alcaraz & Sinner have no chance as they'd have to stay healthy for well over a decade! They're fragile in comparison to the Big 3 and will get nowhere near 20+ yrs. on tour!:D:rolleyes:

You can make valid arguments for both. I personally think it's Jordan, but the Lebron people have a valid case as well.

To me the stain on Jordan is that stupid baseball break he took. Lebron is still a top 25 player even after decades of play and wear and tear.

The stain on Lebron is he left the team who drafted him, to go to a team who had already won a championship. He never won a championship on a team that was built from scratch around him.

He handpicked the teams/players he played with.

LBJ probably hurt his legacy by being more a mercencary; "have ball skills, will travel!"  :D

You are right. They even had a TV special on him when he chose the Heat as his first team. It was like a variety show. With Cleveland they were not getting better. And it rankled him.

James is the GOAT crybaby. He's ass.
I bet Larry Bird could make him cry like a baby and voluntarily bench himself. :auiqs.jpg:

I don't like his personality at all, but given his rings, longevity and being a dominant force at 40 Lebron has a legit claim imo.

That's the way the league has developed. I don't begrudge players getting the best contract they can when the opportunity comes up.

He made that laker team.

And he let Cleveland rebuild without him then joined them to win against golden state,.

I have a problem with his laker ring in the bubble year but he won. It’s in the books. I wanted them to call off that season.

And they got lucky against golden state. Draymond Green got suspended 2 games. Cleveland was down 1 to 3. Wtf?

They were terrible until he came back. They were a lottery team every year.

Why? Every team played under the same conditions. Why would it be an issue? If GS has won would you have problem counting that ring for Curry? I don’t understand tne logic of the “bubble ring” counting less.

1 game. Game 5. Don’t kick people in the balls. He was suspended for getting 4 flagrants during the POs. If Green weren’t a dirty player he wouldn’t have been suspended. Not that it mattered. LeBron hung 41 on Draymond in game 6.

To each his own, but I respect the players who stay with their teams when the going gets tough.

If you never watched Wilt Chamberlain play, you don't know what a GOAT is. Physically, he was like a seven foot Michael Jordan, but he played his entire career under NBA rules that were designed to contain him.

He was the greatest offensive and defensive player who ever lived. How do you think these other wannabes would have done playing in Converse tennis shoes against zone defenses?
You got that right.

He and A. Davis made that team.

He brought K. Irving along with him.

Didn't Irving make the winning shot??? LOL

The 2014-2015 season was marked by the publicity the team received by signing free agent forward LeBron James and trading for forward Kevin Love in the 2015 season. These All-Star players, added with All-Star guard Kyrie Irving, were dubbed nationally as the "Big Three"

Can you imagine what OKC would do to that Cleveland team?

I saw some of Wilt. A great athlete, but Jordan was the GOAT. I think Wembanyana will end up being the GOAT. He's doing things no big man has ever done.

Lebron is not the GOAT, and I have never heard him say he was the GOAT. But he is one of the all-time greats.

First, I would love to see the Piston's win it all. But if they can't, I would love to see NY win it all. If they can't, I would like to see Wemby beat OKC. I just don't want to see a repeat of last year. Boring.

I would like to see Wemby win a championship but then after that, I'll be rooting against him every other time after that. That's usually how I am. Happy to see you win one but then don't want to see a dynasty.

The NBA was the best when it was Magic and Bird. No better time than that. Then the Pistons, then Jordan. This was the golden age of basketball. Kareem to Jordan. Or Magic to Jordan. Every other era after that is just trying to live up to that era.
