The difference is that President Trump respect, defends, and upholds the U.S. constitution, while MaObama did everything he could to destroy it. Additionally, President Trump has restored power to the people (where it rightfully belongs) while MaObama stole power for himself.

Ignorance is rampant. To ignore implies that something is present, but attention is not paid to it. To not know is one thing; to not look is another. All the information is available to inquisitive persons. The "dumbing down" of America is not something imposed on people, it is embraced by them. Oh, it may well be encouraged by those eager to manipulate the masses, but you can't make readers and viewers not read and view when everything is there to be seen.
When one considers the immense intelligence of a portion of our populace, the incredible minds that examine and analyse the wonders of nature from quarks to quasars, it is astonishing. When one considers the refusal of so much of our population to employ their intelligence, it is depressing. They believe in a tiny, petulant 'God', one that has nothing to do with the immensity and magnificence of the universe. They believe in worn out clichés about their nation and its past, leaving no room to appreciate the present and its potentials.
Thinking has been relegated to being a purely intellectual pursuit, and Americans take a dim view of intellectualism. Granted, Europe pays it too much honor, but a modicum is necessary to the exercise of freedom.
The political rallying call should not be "hope and change" or "make America great again (as if it weren't great now)".
The cry should be, "Think!"

I see a few of the younger FB friends I have insist that Democratic Socialism is totally different than other forms of Socialism. I shudder when I read such things. I will be honest and say that the few who believe all the crap dished out by the Dems just aren't smart. One of them is in college, which seriously does not increase intelligence these days. The radical professors take some good minds and fill them full of leftist mush. It's sad.

They get their education of the world through liberal memes on social media and the 'serious' ones might tune into CNN or MSNBC. They believe what they are told without question. They pay no attention to actual statistics when it comes to the economy or unemployment.

All they "know" is that their lives could be better if all the people they were taught to blame for their troubles were better controlled by government.

They "know" that they are victims and that somehow the evil wealthy people caused them to make stupid choices, like majoring in a worthless liberal arts degree.

They "know" that wealthy people caused others to remain poor or on welfare by tricking them into quitting school, having babies before marriage or even breaking some laws.

They "know" that they are not to blame for their stupidity, the wealthy Republicans are at fault.

They "know" that all women tell the truth UNLESS they are accusing a Dem or transgender of sexual assault.

They "know" that all minorities, and many women, are completely helpless creatures who require help from the left if they are to function at all.

They "know" that tolerance means staying in the left lane and bashing anyone who dares to disagree.

They "know" that letting people keep more of what they earn is greedy. They also "know" that demanding that people hand over more money so government can give it to them is not greedy. It's noble to take from others.

Now we have this orchestrated march of "refugees." The left is running out of tactics. I think people have noticed because many have left the Dem party. There are more Independent voters than ever. So, yea, this worries the Dems and they are quickly importing more ignorant people to do their bidding. One Dem in California is being investigated for sending out voter registrations to illegals with the citizenship boxed checked 'yes.' Pretty clear what the plan is for the election. More lying and cheating.

Check the machines when you're voting to make sure your vote doesn't switch from red to blue just before you submit it. Already some reports that happening AGAIN. Funny how those machines always malfunction in favor of the left.

Only the benighted are excited about joining the blue wave. Or as I like to call it, the Blue Lagoon. Some of you will get that.
