Zone1 The Handmaid's Tale: A Perversion of Christianity

How did an experiment that failed to produce life show that life formed from inanimate matter?
Probably because thats not what happened. They created amino acids from nothing but environment. Amino acids are not life, they are essential to it.
They took simple, non living chemicals, close to earths early stages, and added energy. In effect, they reacted and rearranged into amino acids. A building block for life.

"worship me or burn for eternity"
No, Jesus did not say "worship me or burn for eternity." This exact phrase does not appear anywhere in the Bible. While Jesus taught about judgment and spoke of Gehenna—a place of misery often translated as hell—he did not use this ultimatum, which some view as a modern summary of theology, while others regard it as a misrepresentation.
  • Scriptural Context: In the New Testament, Jesus emphasizes believing in him for salvation, stating, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," and that he came to save the world rather than condemn it.
  • Alternative Interpretations: Many theologians and Christians interpret Jesus's teachings on judgment as a consequence of choosing separation from God rather than a punitive command to worship under threat of torture.
  • Origin of the Phrase: The phrase "worship me or burn for eternity" is often cited by critics or skeptics of Christianity as a summary of the doctrine of salvation and hell, rather than a direct quote.
While the theological concept of eternal punishment is a subject of debate within Christianity, the specific quote mentioned is not found in the Gospels.

It is baptism that cleanses original sin. Christ's sacrifice forgives all other sins.

You don't need to rob, bear false witness, murder or cheat on a spouse to know those things are wrong. In other words, you don't need to sin to acquire morals. You are born with an innate sense of right and wrong.
Only the victim can forgive Jesus is not a get out of jail free card.
False we learn morals from our parents and social relationships.
There is no original sin. When you actually stop and tink Christianity makes no sense unless its defined as a way to control people

So they didn't show anything. They did not show life forming from inanimate matter.

Good lord

Only the victim can forgive
And God.
Jesus is not a get out of jail free card.
Actually he is.
False we learn morals from our parents and social relationships.
And are born with an innate sense of right and wrong.
There is no original sin.
In Judaism it's known as the yetzer hara.

The bible does teach us to be obedient to GOD. That doesn't mean it was written for other humans to control us. It means that if you want a happy, peaceful and successful life, that you should love God with all your heart. Because if you love God you won't need rules because you will always do the right thing. Which is literally what Jesus corrected and taught. It's not about rule keeping. It's about loving God.

It obviously wasnt a direct quote, dummy.
John 15 for instance.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned."

It's because you don't understand that it's not only about having the correct sequence of organic molecules but also the correct folding sequence.
You are arguing against something I didnt even say, you idiot.

Jesus taught repentance (turning away from committing the sin) for the forgiveness of sins. He also taught that we should forgive those who ask for forgiveness as many time as they ask us for forgiveness.

While some interpret the "cut off" branches (v. 6) as losing salvation, many scholars interpret it as describing people with a superficial connection to Jesus (like Judas) who never truly produced spiritual fruit, rather than true believers losing their security.

You ignore everything else Jesus said to latch onto something you have misinterpreted so as to confirm your bias. If you are eternally separated from God, it will be because of what you have done and not because you rejected Jesus.

Ding, your copy and paste means nothing to people. Sad how you have to latch on to that constantly.

Should a child sexually molested by a Catholic Priest forgive him fior destroying his life. No Fn way
All sins are not forgivable.
Only a victim can forgive and its not required
Its all manipulation live the life of a scumbag and praise Jesus its all OK.

Ill give you a real life example. I had a patient who was a survivor of Gary Heidrick. He kidnaped children sexually abused them killed them and made others eat the dead ones. My patient had to watch his execution because only then could she feel safe. She will never forgive him

He dismembered his victims and stored their limbs in containers labeled "dog food," allegedly feeding their ground-up remains to those he hadn't yet killed. When Philadelphia police arrested Gary Heidnik in 1987, they found a dismembered head in a stockpot of water on his stove—and three more women chained up in a basement prison pit, where he'd been torturing and raping them.
His crimes would later help inspire the "Buffalo Bill" character in the film Silence of the Lambs_, a serial killer who would hold the women he captured in a pit, later murdering them and removing their skin._
Although Heidnik was the self-appointed pastor of a church he created called the United Church of the Ministers of God, he was the quintessence of evil—but someone had to defend it.

So in your world you can sin your entire life and be forgive by asking Jesus to forgive you.
Not in my world. You don't have a clue about Christianity. Maybe stop trolling atheist websites for strawmen arguments.

Rejecting Jesus makes me closer to God
