If the man in the pointy hat which sits on his throne in Rome really said that then it raises some doubt about his leanings. Seems very socialist to me.

How about putting your money where your mouth is and giving away all that 6B of gold the Vatican is sitting on.

Hey, maybe something got lost in the translation. 😐

there's nothing wrong about what he said .. being kind to others isnt socialism .. socialism [Marxism] is a very very intolerant system ..

Clergy/church institutions have always been inhabited by scheming and conniving proto-Communists, like most Communists they form an alliance of convenience with the Nazi Moloch-worshipping pedophiles - as seen in the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and the pope at the time's clandestine relationship with Adolf Hitler

It would be great if he stays in his lane.

Where was he as Iran slaughterd tens of thousands of their citizens? What did he say about the teens Iran plans to execute for simply making remarks?

May the Lord help you to become a society in which everyone, each according to their respective responsibilities,
Gee, that sounds awfully a lot like to each according to their means.

works ever more fully to serve the common good rather than private interests,
Sounds like socialism. Who decides the common good? Everyone comes out even, no matter their differences?

bridging the gap between the privileged and the disadvantaged.
Oops, now we are into communism. Down with that bad privileged people and more power to the disadvantaged. Does the Poop Leo not understand that in natural law, there is no common good and some are more advantaged than others?

I suppose in the Poop's world, he would arm all the Gazelles in Africa with pistols so that they are fairly advantaged against the bad ol' Cheetahs.

Yep, I was gonna title it Huh, is the Pope a Commie? but I figured that would be way too harsh right off the bat. ;)

Polishing his idols. Leo knows better to lecture the Iranians because after all, they are the disadvantaged and key to his church staying afloat.

Not a fan of this Pope. Or the last one.

I'm not catholic, but I never had an issue with the Pope, in fact, I really liked Pope John Paul II (if I got that right), his death actually saddened me. But since he's been gone, I would not give a plug nickel for any of the popes since him, and Leo is just the worst. The dude is a farging joke.

The Catholic Church, just like so many other institutions, has been hollowed out by the communist movement.
The old days of Pope John Paul II are long gone. The new Popes are leftists who look the other way at totalitarian non-religious or false religious states and instead concentrate their criticism on the United States.

I just said almost exactly the same thing. 👍
