They get a lot of grief. They have to defend themselves from lawsuits by people who don't understand (or care to) that the gun cannot make any decisions on its' own.Thinking of it as a consumer-friendly industry, it's ironic how much grief the tobacco industry gets for selling a dangerous product, but the firearms industry does not.
