That sure applies to Trump and his supporters. WHO and China are to blame for EVERYTHING. Scientists and researchers around the world, along with the national and state CDC's are focusing on the problem and dealing with their hand.
Now YOU are being RIDICULOUS, which snowflakes / people have to be at times in order to attack the President and his supporters.
No one said China and the WHO are to blame for
'EVERYTHING'.
I am sorry you and others are upset that China has been called out for:
- Knowing how bad their epidemic was as early as Nov 2019 yet hiding it from the world...and refusing to shut down international travel to REALLY try to contain it.
- For reusing to share time-critical information in a timely manner
- For refusing to allow the CDC in to appraise the situation and help
The FACT is China could have helped contain this virus, minimize the devastating effects on the world, and saved lives but CHOSE not to.
I am sorry you and others are upset to be reminded / find out that the WHO knew much more than they shared and as of 23 January refused to call COVID-19 a global threat, declaring it could not be spread through touch, and was telling countries NOT to institute travel bans and close borders ... waiting until weeks later to finally declare a Global EMERGENCY.
The entire world looks to the WHO to be objective and to do its job, which is to keep the world safe. If there is evidence to show they can not or will not do so, then it is the President's obligation to investigate and take actions to protect this country if / when others won't. It is only partisanship that prevents many from understanding this
If, in the middle of a crisis, those with 'an axe to grind', political or otherwise, want to focus on who to blame instead of being part of the solution then there is plenty of petty blame and finger pointing to go around:
After N1H1 the Obama administration failed to replenish the supplies used and needed for future global pandemics. In fact [, he ignored 3 reports advising him to do so.
-- It is what it is, and we had to deal with it.
Cuomo ignored the CDC's recommendation in 2015 to buy 2,000 ventilator beds needed for future pandemics / emergencies and ended up having to ask for more.
- Again, it was what it was. You don't finger-point in an emergency. You identify a need and fill it, which has been happening.
President Trump imposed a travel ban the Democrats opposed...and now they admit it was a good idea.....but criticize the President for not doing sooner what they opposed.
One moronic snowflake even wants to blame the President for Chinese citizens from entering the US AFTER he imposed his travel ban...as if he was supposed to be at every airport checking passports himself.
Good gosh....
And you statement that this administration is blaming the WHO, China, or anyone else for 'EVERYTHING' is just another ridiculous overblown exaggeration.
