I knew he was corrupt. I'm not surprised. He might fool some. Not me.

Thomas Massie's ex accuses him of hush money offer.
Axios | 5/13/26 |
Massie is accused by an ex-girlfriend of making a hush money offer after she (the girlfriend) was dismissed from a job arranged by an associate of Massie, when the associate and Massie had a falling out.

This is just a pre election smear campaign. West has already started changing her story.

Innocent or guilty, Massie is a dumbass to argue on X with some guy that he's just giving credibility to.

He's an (R), so I'm happy that he has been so weirdly valuable to the Democrats. By voting against Republican bills and budgets, because he's some kind of "Super-Republican" or whatever he's trying to be, he is actually worth half a Democrat in the House.

If the election is as close as the news in Virginia means it may be, he will be the tie breaker for our side over and over.

If you're him, please don't ruin a good thing. Keep your mouth shut and deny, deny, deny! But through your lawyers, dood.

How many women have accused Trump of offers of hush money.

Christine Blasey Ford and Anita Hill made similar "accusations".

What is it with you people and selective parts of any story?

During his 2018 Supreme Court confirmation, Brett Kavanaugh was accused by Christine Blasey Ford of sexual assault in the early 1980s, alleging he pinned her to a bed and groped her at a party. Three other women, including Deborah Ramirez, also made accusations of sexual misconduct, which Kavanaugh denied.
Key allegations and context include:
  • Christine Blasey Ford: Testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that a drunken Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were teenagers, holding her down and attempting to undress her.
  • Deborah Ramirez:Alleged that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party during their freshman year at Yale University
    .
    • Other Allegations: A third accuser made accusations that were featured in a book, though another woman later recanted her allegations.
    • Response & Outcome: Kavanaugh categorically denied all allegations. Following a supplemental FBI investigation—which Democrats argued was too limited in scope—the Senate confirmed him with a 50–48 vote.
    • Perjury Allegations: Opponents also argued that Kavanaugh lied to Congress about his drinking habits and past behavior during the hearings

Christine Blasey Ford and Anita Hill made similar "accusations".
Anita Hill’s 1991 testimony regarding Clarence Thomas, though isolating at the time, became a watershed moment that revealed she was not alone in facing sexual harassment. The massive public response, including thousands of stories shared with her, validated her experience and launched a lasting conversation on workplace accountability. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
A Lasting Impact
  • Widespread Affirmation: Following her testimony, Hill was flooded with stories from others, affirming that she was not alone in experiencing scrutiny and hostility.
  • Cultural Shift: Her testimony sparked a public conversation on sexual harassment that was previously rare, leading to increased awareness and legal changes.
  • Impact on #MeToo: Hill has noted that current movements holding workplaces accountable, such as #MeToo and #TimesUp, were built over decades, starting with conversations from that era.
  • Continued Advocacy: In her book Believing, and through her work, she continues to highlight the need to believe and support survivors.
  • Shared Experience: She has connected with others who have testified against powerful individuals, such as Christine Blasey Ford, highlighting a shared, ongoing fight for accountability. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Hill has expressed that despite the outcome of her testimony, it was effective because it empowered others and forced a public reckoning.

Ford didn't report anything at the time. Ford couldn't remember the year or the location. Ford couldn't remember how she got to or from the location. Nobody corroborated Ford's testimony. She flat out lied.

Kavanaugh, like Patel has trouble remembering much.

Damn is that the best the pedophile cabal can come up with? They must feel pretty secure about Trump's protection to go so lightly after Massie.

You notice that weirdly valuable thing too, huh? He is the best republican the democrats ever owned.

A small nitpick: he consistently votes no on republican spending bills. He doesnt abstain or vote present. doesn't that make him worth a whole Democrat, at least on those votes?

Oh, brilliant strategy advice, champ. Innocent or guilty? Who cares—just let some blue-check rando lob a bribery accusation on X, then “keep your mouth shut and deny through lawyers, dood.” Because nothing says “I have nothing to hide” like cowering in silence while the story mutates in real time.Massie’s actual reply (you know, the one you’re clutching pearls over):
“No, absolutely not. Look at the newer articles. She now says I gave her the money in December, before she even started the job with Spartz.” The timeline for “hush money to drop the claim” just face-planted. She’s claiming he paid her months before the job existed or any complaint was filed. But sure, the smart play is letting that obvious hatchet-job narrative fester instead of nuking it publicly right before his primary. Super strategic.

And the rest? Peak partisan cope. “He’s worth half a Democrat because he actually reads the bloated spending bills and votes no!” Yeah, those pesky “Super-Republican” principles must be devastating to the swamp. Heaven forbid a House member prioritizes the Constitution over team jerseys. Keep cheering for the guy who “helps your side” by having a spine—wouldn’t want him ruining your precious tie-breaker fantasy with something crazy like transparency.

Republicans used to be conservative and keep the spending in check. FFS, even the 1990's democrats were more fiscally responsible than Trump and his RINO's.

Only RINO's support massive spending bills beyond the previous democrat administration. And the one before that.
Obama spent $8 trillion in 8 years. Trump did that much in 4. Give him an award for being THE biggest spending republican we've ever had.
In fact, Trump spent more than all other GOP presidents and 98% of the democrats, COMBINED.

Is that a good reason for Massie to consistently side with Democrats?

A lot of them are. But no doubt Trump, one of the most corrupt, set someone to find Massive slightly corrupt.

But Trump doesn't care. Corrupt will take down Massie, but not Trump, for some reason.
