The thing is candycorn, anyway you look at it is more hoax than reality. The question is whether or not ventilators (the TDS democrats buzzword to represent how much you care about the "vulnerable") can be sold for parts. They basically represent a humiliating and expensive, accelerated hospice, chemically induced comatose death. I have to break something to you. Though always tragic on a familial level, death is a fact of life. The question is not, "Is it sad that people die". The question is: should we continue to wreck complete economic devastation on our economy for what, currently, is 13,000 deaths--not even your typical flu year.
