WHO early on should have listened to Taiwan, instead they sided with China who lied to WHO and the world on how bad this virus was. In January they were still claiming it wasn’t Being passed in the air, and we know this was a false narrative to make China look blameless.

The FACT is China could have helped contain this virus, minimize the devastating effects on the world, and saved lives but CHOSE not to.

I am sorry you and others are upset to be reminded / find out that the WHO knew much more than they shared and as of 23 January refused to call COVID-19 a global threat, declaring it could not be spread through touch, and was telling countries NOT to institute travel bans and close borders ... waiting until weeks later to finally declare a Global EMERGENCY.

The entire world looks to the WHO to be objective and to do its job, which is to keep the world safe. If there is evidence to show they can not or will not do so, then it is the President's obligation to investigate and take actions to protect this country if / when others won't. It is only partisanship that prevents many from understanding this

The 'Coronavirus Pandemic Czar, Dr. FAUCI, was telling Americans on the 'Today' Show that there was no need for Americans to change their lifestyles. The President can only listen to the advice given to him by the experts...but even then he was ahead of most of them. The Democrats must have been listening to the same advice, because they were telling their constituents to ride subways, herd in large numbers, and go about their daily lives.

January 4th. - WHO was still calling the virus pneumonia. How could Trump order tests for Covid-19 when it hadn't been identified as anything but pneumonia?
