The end of the American century.

Many believe that the war in Ukraine will reverse or bring an end to globalisation. As Larry Fink – the boss of the world’s largest asset-management firm, BlackRock – put it in his annual letter to shareholders, Russia’s invasion ‘has put an end to the globalisation we have experienced over the past three decades’.

Nowadays, the period leading up to the First World War is often called the first wave of globalisation. The current era, which is generally thought to have started 30 years ago, at the end of the Cold War, is seen as the second wave of globalisation – or ‘Globalisation 2.0’. The conventional view is that at some point the globalisation wave will be made to recede by some crisis: a financial crash, a pandemic or, as in 1914 and again today, by a war.

This view of economic cycles or waves suddenly being inverted provides catchy headlines. But it falls down analytically because capitalism always operates both nationally and internationally at the same time. As a result, the economic internationalisation usually associated with ‘globalisation’ co-exists with the national economic developments and policies that are often used as illustrations of ‘de-globalisation’.

Some organization at a "global" level must happen at some point. Categorically opposing anything that looks like it is seriously deranged. How it happens and is administered is the only thing that can be adjusted. It can be a boon for humanity or a further boon for the humans who prey on the rest of us. Simply being militant against any form of universal republic only plays into the hands of Putin, Xi and the duopoly, etc.

The Pol Pots and Trotskys on the left have turned America into the new Soviet Union but with a “happy face “

It has never been a question of politics, religion or ideology. It has always been about psychology. There is a percentage of the human population that is intelligent enough to understand the principles of exploiting the lesser and lacking enough in positive human sentiment to apply them. Today we like to banter about the terms "communist" and "capitalist"; it is really about sociopaths.

The globalist will never give up their China and Mexico quest, they go after cheap labor, the more of it , the better. Larry Fink, a democrat donor, is wrong.

Here's how we can tell China to go fuck themselves, strengthen the Americas and address our border issue all at the same time.

Won't happen, though, as it would require communication and collaboration across party lines. America can't do big things any more.

China has a billion people plus , the same amount of land. Do you want all the people of China to starve?

The land of the southern border wouldn't be a problem if people stopped drugs.

So is this great reset we keep hearing about no more than a natural economic cycle simply coming to fruition?

Russia and Ukraine have put an end to globalization? That is about the biggest bunch of malarkey I've ever seen in a post.

If anything, globalization will be more prevalent in this century than the end of the last.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT CHINA! THEY CAN STARVE AND DROP OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH FOR ALL I CARE!

You sound like a Trump supporter.

Because central control has worked so well on national scales, that bringing it about on a global scale is only the next logical step!

We live off of Chinese cheaper labor now. China is a nation that for many centuries has been dormant. It sees power now. World power and potential hegemony. Globalists will have a difficult time controlling them completely if they are in league with each other.
