In a Republic, actually
“A majority of Americans say the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that established a constitutional right to abortion, a Washington Post-ABC News poll conducted last week finds.

With the Supreme Court poised to overturn the right to abortion, the survey finds that 54 percent of Americans think the 1973 Roe decision should be upheld while 28 percent believe it should be overturned — a roughly 2-to-1 margin.”

Hence the tyranny of Republican minority rule.

The country is split half and half when the reason for the abortion is "can't afford the baby". And that is IF you believe the Post poll. The only way you get these high numbers in support of abortion is reasons like rape, severe fetal health problems, health of the mother.

Leftists causing unrest so they can keep killing their babies ought to sour Americans' stomachs on you all even more. See California right now.

Laws are created, interpeted, and enforced by the 3 branches of government

Nowhere does the Constitution mention a 4th branch known as Washington Post polls

BTW poll was of "adults". Not likely voters. Not even "Registered voters". So these yahoos can talk but many of them do not VOTE. And they won't vote.

The right to an abortion should be left to the individual states. If you live in a state that would severely restrict abortion, move to a blue state. If you object to abortions, move to a red state.

The Supreme Court doesn't (isn't supposed) to make decisions on Constitutional Law by plebiscite.

The fact, is The Roe V Wade decision has always been a weak legal case.

If you want a Constitutional Right to an abortion, you have to make a better case or pass a Constitutional Amendment.

If, as you say, the majority of Americans support a Constitutional Right to abortion, passing a Constitutional Amendment should be a piece of cake.

The states will make their own determinations, as it was meant to be.

If any state allows a post-birth 'abortion' the Court will strike that down as a violation of the infant's 5th and 14th Amendment rights.

Make sure you keep loudly and vocally supporting all late term abortions on demand ..

Worked out real well for the left last time ..made me a heartbeat law man

Personally I think it's murder because it is..if a women is using abortion as a form of birth control she should maybe reevaluateher life ...especially when every pharmacy across the usa has aisles full of birth control options .it's now up to individual states

They didn’t ban or overturn anyone's rights you imbecile… the retarded left had to break the rule of constitutional law to shove your baby killing immorality down every9nes throats.

Doubt very much it's going to help you in the midterms as people need gas and grocieries all the time ....they're to busy cursing at the gas pumps

The calls from violence from the left is the cherry on top

Roe Verses Wade was rightly decided in 1973, its too bad republicans don't agree.

We are governed by the rule of law, not public opinion

Come on, what else do you expect from a WAPO ABC poll? If pro abortionists are so sure why are they afraid to leave it up to the voters?
