What’s there to fix when one party sits on their hands? As far as I can tell, voters aren’t going to clear house so really the only thing that could allow for the free flow of ideas is eliminating the filibuster. That’s a whole other shitshow though.I think it needs to be bipartisan so that both parties have skin in the game. And not one or two rebels.
Otherwise the status quo remains: Wild swings back and forth, non-stop sabotage. I don't see how that's a good thing.
What we're seeing almost certainly continues as long as we're satisfied with the status quo and choose to not fix the system.
