The Death of Candidate Christie

Dude answered one thousand questions yesterday at a 2 + hour press conference.
What Democrat has ever done that after one of their own in their administration made a massive fuck up?
He is owning up to it.
Democrats lie, cheat and fib their way out.

Spitzer and McGreevey quit.

And their "fuckups" were personal.

So McGreevey giving a high level security clearance and position as Homeland Security Adviser to Golan Cipel was just "personal"?
Cipel was not even a US citizen.
Could care less if they were lovers but if you believe this had NO potential for massive problems you do not live in the real world.

Exactly.

And both are trying to get back in, because in thier mind they did nothing wrong, except fuck over (literally) thier spouses.

Well.

Why isn't Christie resigning?

I mean he's an "honorable" guy right?

And this "fuckup" wasn't a "Personal" fuck up.

He screwed up the lives of the very people he's suppose to be helping.

That's pretty bad.

Christie is a good illustration of something that appeals to Republican voters, but not the Republican Party.

Put everyone in the running before 50,000 Republicans and give them half an hour to make their case, and Christie would win in a landslide. He is a take-no-prisoners, take-no-nonsense, suffer-no-fools pragmatic republican. He will work with whomever he has to to get the job done, and compromise where necessary.

The caricature of "Tea Party Voters" who will tolerate nothing but hard-line conservative EVERYTHING exists only in the soft and porous brain cells of Progressives.

The question is, will the Republican Party again foil the Republican voters, and saddle us with another half-assed piece of garbage like the last two R candidates? If not, Christie is our man.

I agree with most of that but Christie is not a team player.
And because of that the Democratic TEAM is kicking our asses.
Politics is a team sport. Republicans are a dysfunctional weak team.

Would make sense if you had some facts to back up that.
But you do not have any.

He resigned..ace.

So you think Christie should too?

Back what up?

Christie just fired the people involved.

They were people from his inner circle that Christie put into place.

They made decisions that had a grave impact on New Jersey's economy and people's lives.

He's responsible.

They were responsible.
He fired them.
He has not screwed up the lives of anyone.
He solved the problem.
Your team just put a supporter of cop killers in an important position in the Justice Department. Go and do something about that and get back to us.
You have enough work to do with Democrats and their cronies and crooks in office.

Christie handled the issue appropriately and will move on.

The scandal will reinforce his image to be able to act decisively and for the right reasons.

The result of the scandal will enhance his executive stature as a candidate for president.

and he took responsibility. Now its in the hands of the investigators, who I hope pool thier resources, form a joint task force, and not waste years on this crap.
