Without starting a mega-tangent, look at the "common knowledge" that FDR ended the Depression. Literally, nothing could be further from the truth.

The correct Democrat talking point SHOULD BE that the invasion of Iraq was ill-advised, even having all of this (incorrect) intelligence about the WMD's. But even that one is untenable since most of the Democrat leadership in Congress was on board with the invasion. Including HRC, Kerry etc.
