This news story by the India Times was posted in 2015. There appears to be a discrepancy here in the author calling the number 26 the new '13.' Some in the occult apparently know about the historical significance of the number 26 (double 13) and much death and destruction is planned on that date through their rituals because bloodshed / loss of life (human sacrifice to Lucifer) allows them to tap into more demonic powers therein helping them achieve their wicked agenda. I was reading the comments of a man who was exposing the importance of the number 26 to those in the Occult - he mentioned the number 26 in Hindu occult Bhahmin magic and also mentioned its ties to"Qabala." ... another man agreed stating: this number is used heavily in most Qabala rituals be they in the East or West. There was also the mention of 26 being an important number in Freemasonry. I did try to research this number on certain websites. This number 26 (the double 13) is missing from the sites I searched - which promote secret societies such as Illuminati Lucifereans, Witchcraft, Freemasonry etc. So is the number 26 important to those involved in the occult, does the date of the 26th - demonic powers unleashed through bloodshed and death on that specific day - somehow empower them? If so, then certainly those in the Iluminati would schedule important events on the 26th without most people knowing what they are up to.

If you were anywhere in the vicinity of Delhi during the last night, you may have surely felt the tremors from the major earthquake which hit Afghanistan around 12:30 am (IST) today.

This has reinforced the modern day conspiracy theory that many of the most major tragedies in history have happened on 26th of various months.

Bad crap could be associated with ANY number from 1 to 31. The act of looking for such correlations is essentially doing research by way of confirmation bias.

I can tell you this: there's nothing especially significant about the numbers 26 or even 13 from my preferred method (Rodin's Quantum Numerology). The former is reducible to 8, the latter to 4, neither of which is "transcendent" nor "self-referential" from the initial equations.
