It’s funny that you believe that the average person is in line with the far-left. They aren’t. The problem with the Democratic Party is that the far-left of center is running the show. The average soccer mom, even one that may have voted for Democrats in the past, does not agree with the majority of your party’s policy or rhetoric. Getting snot nosed, idealistic kids, one issue voters(abortion, LGBTQ, etc) and those who do nothing but think about identity politics 24/7 to vote for them is one thing, but average adults that just want a safe place to live, who go to work everyday, support a family, pay taxes, try to save for retirement, etc. have more pressing concerns that the Democrats aren’t addressing.

But here's the problem. Only about 30% of the population is White, Male, and Straight/Cisgendered. It's the angriest, loudest part of the population, screaming every time they lose even the tiniest bit of privilege.

Here's how the American Poltical Cycle works

1) Republicans fuck up the economy. It's not a bug, it's a design feature. Fucked up economies mean their corporate masters can screw the working class.
2) People get fed up with fucked up Republican economies, and vote in Democrats.
3) Democrats slowly fix things, and Republicans whine they aren't getting better fast enough.
4) After things get fixed, Republicans start whining about the gays and the minorities and the feminists are making your life miserable, and you fall for it.
5) Go back to step 1.

The only difference this time is that instead of it taking 16 years to go through this cycle, we went through it in 8.

DEI supports puting people into job positions based on their skin color/ethnicity......... not on qualifications.
