The NG has stated they have received no reports of armed militia, that is correct. This story originated from a Forest Service email to federal responders in Rutherford county that the NG had such an encounter. If you want to blame anyone, blame the person at the US Forest Service that sent that email. Arrest made after FEMA crews forced to relocate amid reported threats over hurricane relief efforts
