Examining the magnitude of trump's utter failure in responding to COVID

It's the topic of the thread. It's pertinent because.........you know.........he's running for prez. I'd rather not have a clown like Don with a track record of failure be in charge of the government again.

President Trump further undermined public confidence in science by suggesting “cures” for COVID-19, including at one point ingesting bleach and taking hydroxychloroquine, a drug that research confirmed had no efficacy as a COVD-19 treatment.

You are being held hostage by your echo chamber media -
The things that you believe only exist in your bubble

Which is why Americans who want the country to succeed are voting for Harris. If those 600K+ more Americans who died on trump's watch while Canada had a vastly superior COVID response were alive I bet they'd be voting for Harris too.

646,970 lives.

This is the number of Americans who would be alive today if the United States had the same per capita death rate from COVID-19 as our northern neighbor, Canada.

Yeah, but the FACT that the demented LEFT put a Covid tag on every cold toe that they could find NULLIFIES your twisted statistics.

Trump failed miserably his first time out

It cost him the 2020 election

Why the hell would we want that failure back in the White House?

The U.S. Failed Miserably on COVID-19. Canada Shows It Didn’t Have to Be That Way

No country is more similar to the U.S. than Canada, whose economy and culture are closely intertwined with our own. Yet faced with a life-threatening pandemic of historic proportions, Canada showed far greater success in protecting the lives of its people than the U.S. How are we to understand Canada’s superior performance and the disastrous performance of our own country, which has the highest per capita death rate (3023 per one million, compared to Canada’s 1071) of any wealthy democratic country?

In comparing the two countries, the starting point must be the different response at the highest levels of government. In Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated in March 2020, “I’m going to make sure that we continue to follow all the recommendations of public health officers particularly around stay-at-home whenever possible and self-isolation and social distancing”. This message was reinforced by Dr. Teresa Tam, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, who in March delivered a message urging solidarity, declaring “We need to act now, and act together.”

In the U.S., President Trump in striking contrast declared that he would not be wearing a mask, saying “I don’t think I will be doing it…I just don’t see it”. And instead of reinforcing the messages of Dr. Anthony Fauci and other leading public health officials, Trump actively undermined them, declaring in reference to stay-at-home orders in some states, “I think elements of what they’ve done are just too tough.” Not content with undercutting his top public health advisers, President Trump further undermined public confidence in science by suggesting “cures” for COVID-19, including at one point ingesting bleach and taking hydroxychloroquine, a drug that research confirmed had no efficacy as a COVD-19 treatment.

I suppose I could include links to trump saying early on that COVID was under control or how he didn't want to let people off a cruise ship because it would make the US's COVID case number go up. I don't think it's necessary. We all know what he said.

He bears the responsibility for our failed COVID response. Full stop.
Fauci was a fraud, the scamdemic was more of a flu than a biological anomaly, masks never worked and quarantining was a complete joke. All in all Trump did everything just about right.

In trumpworld failure is success, tariffs are a panacea, losing an election = fraud, hydroxychloroquine is an elixir, lies are facts, and orange is everyone's favorite color.

This one still believes Trump wouldn’t give the New York Goomba enough ventilators.

There was no failure. The only failure was the failure to see that Fauci was a complete liar.

There was also failure to understand that wearing anything but an n90 mask which almost nobody wore was more of a show and a joke than a real remedy.

Finally the greatest failure was the misconception that we could do anything to affect the spread of the virus and that it was going to do whatever it was going to do regardless of what we did.

It WAS A FAILURE

and that failure cost Trump the 2020 election

Trump suggested exploring cleaning agents to rid COVID. Where is the exact quote on ingesting?

You match up perfectly with the attributes listed on the box. It's just that you behave that way in the fruitless attempt to defend Don for all things. Like his failure to competently respond to COVID.
The states that shut down on purpose destroyed themselves. Trillions of dollars printed up by the Progs the first two years of Joe and Kamala to save their asses. You are dictators. The silliness of people ready to sell our their own as they were in a panic. So much to get people back for. The arrogance and obnoxiousness of people is incredible. The East Asian are waiting in the wings for their coronation, and they have issues with the Ugly Americans.

The ease in which the dems and their media wing threw you useful idiots into hysterics is what cost Trump the election.

COVID-19 should NOT have been a Federal issue. It should have been left to the states to deal with, pure and simple.

It's the stupidones who vote for the letter "D" and not realizing the reality of it. It is going to be tough to have any sympathy and compassion if the Progs win this time. And if we get a dictatorship I would be honored to work for the Dept. of Karma, Revenge, Truth. So many people to get satisfaction from in a darker world created for nothing.

More people died under Biden, but maybe Impeach Trump over this?

One of those pesky Extreme Lefty Mutants with chronic Cognitive Rigidity and permanent Gullibility .

Swarms of them congregate on Social Media platforms. Make repeated high pitch squawks and drink gallons of Cola .

We are a center right country

This is not a RW country.

It is not a LW country.

It os not a "christian nation".

It is just America, a big sloppy mass of people with different opinions and beliefs and preferences just like it was meant to be!
