An excellent documentary on the history and purpose of central banking with special attention given to the Federal Reserve.

The only 'agenda' apparent in the commentary is the truth.

Why would we want free money when we can pay keep paying all that interest to some private banks?
It's not like those banks would stand to gain by exorbitant government spending? or even promote such policies?
It's not like they would manipulate the economy, markets, interest rates, etc for their on own gain? of course they'll take losses on their own investments for the good of greater economy
It's not like they have huge investments in the defense industry and would benefit from war?
It's not like the huge national debt leaves us at their mercy and subject to extortion?
It's not like they are so big they can get away with malfeasance and fraud without penalty?
It's just not.

James Corbett does some good work, thanks.

I'll take a look at the video over the weekend.for now though,we became a facist dictatership and lost all our libertys in 1913 thanks to that traiter woodrow wilson.

I hope the significance of this thread's placement in the History forum hasn't been lost on anyone. ;)

The documentary's transcript and sources are available at Corbett's website, in case the historicity of any of his claims require defense in this discussion.

Here's to the hope for a better tomorrow, in which The Federal Reserve and the *principles responsible for its inception will be wholly regarded as matters of history.
