Texas Gov. Rick Perry Indicted For Abuse Of Power

Common Sense says that once your DA has been arrested and in jail, someone has to do something about it.Lehmberg showed poor judgement and such disdain for Law enforcement she obviously should have resigned but that would have been respectful and dignified.

Here's an interesting question: why was she not DISBARRED for this? (Which would make her resignation a moot point.)

Ah, because that's not grounds for disbarment maybe. Unlike Perry the Texas Bar Association probably tries to follow the rules...

This "witch hunt thing has a sort of Deja vu ring to it. Does anyone remember how many years and millions of dollars the republicans spent trying to impeach Bill Clinton for lying about his personal sex life?

See, you just lied again! Clinton was impeached (and disbarred!) for lying under oath! That is perjury, plain and simple, and anyone HONEST knows it. Are you CAPABLE of honesty?

She was for only 45 days.. It's the only DEMOCRAT COUNTY IN Texas.. They circled the wagons and protected her.. The entire nasty episode is linked here with that information by me..

The Austin Grand Jury?

LMAO.....oh yeah....the one that got it's "conviction" of Delay tossed?

Too funny.

Oh my, you lied:

"On April 12, 1999, Wright found Clinton in contempt of court for “intentionally false” testimony in Jones v. Clinton, fined him $90,000, and referred the case to the Arkansas Supreme Court’s Committee on Professional Conduct, as Clinton still possessed a law license in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Supreme Court suspended Clinton’s Arkansas law license in April 2000. On January 19, 2001, Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension and a $25,000 fine in order to avoid disbarment and to end the investigation of Independent Counsel Robert Ray (Starr’s successor). On October 1, 2001, Clinton’s U.S. Supreme Court law license was suspended, with 40 days to contest his disbarment. On November 9, 2001, the last day for Clinton to contest the disbarment, he opted to resign from the Supreme Court Bar, surrendering his license, rather than facing penalties related to disbarment."

She wasn't truly disbarred although calls for it and for her resignation hit newspapers throughout Texas, Police associations, MADD chapters, etc etc.. because she was in the liberally protected county of Travis- Democrats were able to protect her and demand her office be funded - in particular the Public Morality and Integrity Unit which decides what cases to legislate. Rick Perry vetoed the spending bill liberals sent him for that.. he warned them he would not sign it.

Do you regularly post things that say the OPPOSITE of what you claim? I understand you're really stupid, but this is weak, even by your pathetically-low standards.

So, the woman breaks the law, many- as chief law enforcement officer in Travis County.. she should have resigned, PERIOD.. NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT.. but liberals circled the wagon.. now they cry foul because the Governor of Texas who has veto power and holds the purse strings, wouldn't fund their liberal drunken criminals office.

Where's the Clinton disbarred part, since ah, he wasn't...

To add insult to injury, this drunk idiot was riding in the bike lane.. A child, anyone could have been killed because SHE ALONE chose to drive drunk- with an open bottle of vodka on the seat next to her when they stopped her.. Once arrested, she kicked, screamed, threatened to spit on officers.

Sounds like a drunk alright. And look at that, she broke the law and got nailed for it. Since Perry did the same, he's next...
