Still waiting for an answer to >What the hell are you talking about? SS Retirement benefits are not paid "off the books".
Face it Musk/Trump lied to you to make you believe that there were millions of people over the age of 100 drawing SS Retirement Benefits when in fact the SS Retirement payments for those over 100 run about 89,000 a month and the Trump Administration Census showed a little over 90,000 American's over 100 years old.
That was the claim (Musk/Trump), That was the Date (those paid benefits). You were lied to and still believe it.

Downsizing the federal government is a key mission of DOGEDOGE isn't auditing. They are firing people. Lets let some independent auditors do it.
I was referring to the auditing and spending cutting. They are telling us.
haven't you been paying attention?
They ARE auditing and finding $$$$$ wasted on idiotic LGBT & DEI junk, all over the world, and then cutting that reckless & crazy spending. They aren't auditing, they are firing people. They can't read a simple chart, how are they gonna audit anything?
At least according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
“President Trump has directed Elon Musk and the DOGE team to identify fraud at the Social Security Administration. They haven’t dug into the books yet, but they suspect that there are tens of millions of deceased people who are receiving fraudulent Social Security payments,” she said.
There are only about 70 million people in total getting SS. There may be hundreds of deceased getting payments, but certainly not millions or tens of millions.
I mean, seriously. Does anyone really think that 1/3 of recipients are dead?
Over the weekend, Musk posted a table supposedly showing that the Social Security database has millions of people in it over the age of 140.
"Ninety-eight percent of social security number holders who are age 100 or older do not receive benefits, Justin Wolfers, professor of public policy and economics at the University of Michigan, explained on X. “Why are there dead people on (this one table of) the social security database? They died before the use of electronic death records,” he added.
So the real question here is are they really that stupid?
Or do they just think you are?

'Frustrating': Experts push back against team Trump claim that dead people collect Social Security
President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, pushed a claim Monday on Fox News that there may be many dead people receiving Social Security payments. Experts have pushed back against that idea, which has come from Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, indicating...www.alternet.org
Those records shouldn't even exist because their database tables should have constraints on the age, the date of birth and the date of death fields in order to not even allow information that is way outside of the normal life span of a human being.
But enough about the fat orange rapist and the Son of Apartheid...When robbers are at work, they make THEIR OWN rules.
As long as your favorite fat rapist says so... right?“There may be hundreds of deceased getting payments, but certainly not millions or tens of millions.”
As long as you say so, darlin’.
Most fraud relates to SS Disability not dead people collecting benefitsYes, there is fraud in social security. Everyone knows there is some fraud. How much? Probably not very much and there are systems in place to identify it and deal with it. At a certain point, you can spend more money dealing with fraud then you recover in actually finding it.
see a shrinkBut enough about the fat orange rapist and the Son of Apartheid...
Ok then. Why don't you produce the record of where these fictional payments are actually winding up.....since....you know....dead people can't actually be cashing these fictional checks. No, it's "explained" in the linked piece, with the person guessing as to why, and using the old "thrown spaghetti" approach, claiming a bunch of reasons and seeing what sticks.

WHOSE bank accounts is this money winding up in according to Trump's Nazi Afrikaneer pimp?
It is more MAGA misinformation trying to stir up the base.I'm sure that's all being looked at.
How would I produce those records anyway?
It is more MAGA misinformation trying to stir up the base.
It is just a case where SS numbers are not closed out because no record of death has been received.
Trump inferred SS is still sending checks
Of course we know..The fact they haven't been closed is bad enough. And we don't know if they are still getting checks or not.
You're sure?I'm sure that's all being looked at.
Exactly the point. You don't really know what you are talking about. You are just trusting what these elite, billionaire, corporate raiders are telling you and you are repeating it like some kind of fact. How would I produce those records anyway?
