This is the real me. I'm posting on the fly but I'm on the back of the album cover. I've lived my fantasy life. It really doesn't get much better than knowing you've been immortalized in song.

This was a small independent album that my ex recorded at the time in TO and I ended up promoting it and that's how I entered my career in the music industry. The album didn't sell like a top ten would, but it expanded Ron's ability to get higher paying gigs and got good airplay on MOR stations.

14 years and 2 children later we called it quits. Good man. We just had gone in different directions over the years.

It was a successful little career. Together we earned a gold,a platinum and a double platinum for an album I promoted hard "Welcome to the Rodeo" a Juno from Eddie Schwartz for a great song called "All our tomorrows". You would know him better for "Hit me with your best shot" that Pat Benatar covered that hit the top of every chart going.

But the awards pale in comparison to having been able to work with some of the greatest players and singers and songwriters out there. Guys like Danny Lanois who started up a little studio in my hometown and we promoted his first studio. He went on to produce U2. Or to have worked with Chris Ward who co wrote Black Velvet for Alannah Myles. I have great stories from those days. Surrounded by genius. I loved it.

It was a trip.

My wonderful ex husband. He's an amazing player. Ron had given it up for years but he's back. Wonderfully back as he should be.
