So I wanted to put this in politics. But I figured it might be moved with no link. Even though its legit and a complete bullseye.
So I was goofing off with my dog, and I realized something. Every dog owner is a complete tyrant, going by the way we judge people in power.
We control when they eat, when they drink, when they piss, when they poop, when they can be sociable with other dogs, when they can leave a certain area etc.
And they love us unconditionally anyways. We, their owner, are their entire life. We dont completely control their life with bad intentions. Most of us want only the best for them, but regardless, we control almost everything they do. Tyrants think that way. Like they are doing good.
Like I said, they still love us unconditionally despite that. Humans do the same damn thing. Political tribalism has completely warped people. One day, they are antiwar. The next day, they support threatening 10 countries with invasion or regime change. Some will talk about the first amendment like its gods gift to earth. The next day, they want to use violence to silence anything they dont want to hear. Their integrity hangs on a balance of what some politician says. People love them unconditionally despite them wanting to completely control their lives. Despite them using punishment as a means to silence.
Despite the similarities between dogs and partisans, dogs are still better. Yeah, sure some of them might roll around in another animals shit. Yeah, sure some of them shit where they sleep. But so do some of you.
Dogs are better than most people. Fight me.
