Ted Cruz telling it like it is.

Today," Ted Cruz said during his presidential announcement Monday, "roughly half of born-again Christians aren't voting. They’re staying home." Continuing his central theme -- imagine! -- Cruz offered an alternative: "Imagine instead millions of people of faith all across America coming out to the polls and voting our values."

I get it now. Teddie is imagining things ... his central theme.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
I've been calling his announcement The Imaginary Speech. :)

I suspect Cruz will find his voice here and will do surprisingly well. He needs to take it to the next level, and redefine his views as a program for American greatness and the embodiment of what this country is about. We'll see if he can do it. But the enthusiasm is there.

I hope that Rafael Jr. realizes that in the Good Old Days men were men, women were barefoot and pregnant, Jews were in NYC, fags were in the closet, blacks cleaned the floors, and his kind, the bottom, well, they picked the fruit and changed diapers.

He also said that he's going to pull 150,000 IRS agents out of the IRS and put them on the southern border. He makes stuff up he can't help himself

Now, to the OP link:

“We’ve got to get back to defending our Constitutional liberties," Cruz said in a luncheon speech in Barrington, about 30 miles northeast of Manchester. "We’ve never seen a federal government come after the Bill of Rights like this administration."

Cruz coyly resisted calls from an audience eager for him to announce his candidacy, including the pleas of one supporter who opened his wallet and offered a blank check to the freshman Senator from Texas.

Instead Cruz sketched the outlines of a fledgling platform, calling for a flat tax so that every American can “fill out his or her taxes on a postcard.”

Well, at least he had one interesting idea. Not doable, but interesting.

Wow.....to think hilary has been in the public eye since the 90s...on a national level, as the first lady...and the media has protected and coddled her....and she is only at 60%.....yeah...fair comparison.....

sometimes you just gotta have a bowel movement. Ted had one yesterday.

That's terrific. If anything will make you want to run from America it's an IRS audit. Those wetbacks don't stand a chance.

Now, how do we get 450,000 chairs and 150,000 desks to the border? Oops, got it, use more wetbacks! Genius...

not doable?

Explain.

Simple....

assume flat tax of 10% on income.

Here is all you need...

Name: Joe Smith
Address: 1313 Mockingbird Lane
SS Number: 111-11-1111

W-2 income: 100,000
1099 income: 30,000
Total: 130,000 10% of total: 13,000

Amount Paid:...................................... 12,300

Amount Owed.................................... 700.00

Seems that can pretty much fit on a postcard, sparky.

No need for 30%....

As it is set up now, the average "well off" person pays about 18-22% in federal taxes after write offs and tax deferred write offs.

Raising that to about 25% flat tax would result in a dramatic increase in tax revenue.

25% on all income, personal and business, no deductions, would start us off.
