I think him and his father are major hypocrites. His father (already divorced with two children left with that ex-wife.) deserted Ted and his mother in Canada in 1974 and moved to Texas before reconciling later that year and divorcing later. He wouldn't define those actions as particularly "family values". And the old man is a practised history and Bible cherry picker. One of his main sermon themes is “the separation of Church and State is a myth.” He's also a vigorous implanter of fear and hate in the evangelical crowds he stimulates to an anti-Obama anti-liberal frenzy.
Ted himself? A brilliant litigator apparently who spent his lawyering career defending Corporate miscreants and various hard-right conservative causes. Which is fine but there's no hint of morality as far as I'm concerned in a career like that. Also for a brilliant legal mind his "inadvertent" failure to report low interest loans from Goldman Sachs to the FEC and his "inadvertent" failure to publicly disclose his financial relationship with Caribbean Equity Partners Investment Holdings during the 2012 campaign seem unstereotypical. His righteous indignation at any hint of public health care while enjoying a G.S. supplied Cadillac health plan just ******* pisses me off.
I'll finish with;
"According to transcripts as reported by Politico, in his first two years in the Senate, Cruz attended 17 of 50 public Armed Services Committee hearings, 3 of 25 Commerce Committee hearings, 4 of the 12 Judiciary Committee hearings, and missed 21 of 135 roll call votes during the first three months of 2015"
Somehow that just doesn't fit my definition of a good Christian work ethic. Wonder if he'll suck up any of the golden parachute pension Senators screw out of the public purse?

I'm having a hard time understanding the problem here. Is there something wrong with hiring someone who has made porn to act in some other role? If he isn't making porn what's the issue? Should we boycott rocky movies because Sly did some adult films once upon a time?

Seems to me if you are helping her get out of porn roles you are doing a good job.

If one stops to think about it, THIS AD has done more for putting Cruz's positions in the front of millions of people as it has gone VIRAL NOW and he couldn't BUY the PR VALUE of what that ad has done for name recognition and policy position!
