Syria Gas Attack; Trump silent. What a leader!

ISIS and/or sympathetic miltias in Syria would never use gas, would they?

They said it was delivered by air, when did the militias or ISIS get an airforce.

Syria Gas Attack; Trump silent. What a leader!

I haven't even read the subsequent posts in the thread, but I'm sure that there are people remarking on Obama's blunder as goes Syria. The facts of the matter, however, are that Obama is no longer POTUS, Trump is POTUS, and he campaigned on a theme of strength and leadership, yet after having made at least two public speeches when the news of the chemical weapons use was aired, he's not so much as remarked upon this week's gassing by the Assad regime, that despite his press secretary having on his behalf described the act as "reprehensible." Moreover, Trump has stated that removing Assad from power is not a priority. Well, just how is one to believe the Administration/Trump thinks the act is reprehensible while it also also countenances Assad's remaining as Syria's head of state?

If you knew anything about battlefield weapons you wouldn't have posted that.

Sorry I used the wrong "w" word. I meant Where's the leadership?

Or should we expect him to tweet about Arnold and show ratings like a true global leader?
Gonna blame him for Syria too?

Holy shit lib, Obama drew a red line and then like the coward he is let Syria gas people and did nothing. Then lied and claimed it wasn't even his red line. You got some balls bringing up this subject.
Russia stepped in and agreed to supervise and conduct the removal of all chemical weapons in the Syrian arsenal. That is what prevented any military action by the US or coalition forces. If Syria still has chemical weapons it is on Russia for not completing its task and promise.

I probably know more than you. The people on scene said it was delivered by military aircraft. Is that better?

I'm not giving Obama a pass but it wasn't Assad gassing his own people in a Damascus suburb at the same time he had invited the UN inspectors in. That was Saudi Arabia or Turkey. To provoke Obama into taking action.

Donald Trump denounced the carnage as a “heinous” act that “cannot be ignored by the civilized world.” But he also laid some of the responsibility on Barack Obama, saying in a statement that the attack was “a consequence of the past administration’s weakness and irresolution.”

This doesn't make sense at all. Syrian and Russian troops combined with various militias have kicking ISIS and AQ's ass all over the place. Why commit a heinous act at this point in time when they are winning? And earn the condemnation of the world.

When did Syria attack the US with chemical or biological weapons? Did I miss it?

If not, then it's none of our damn business and the POTUS has no need to comment on it.
