How do you feel about the history of Native Americans?

Are you referring to the millions of my ancestors that were murdered? Are you referring to incidents like Sand Creek where women and children were targeted by the military? The over 300 treaties that were broken? The fact that the government and the Catholic church stole our children and tried to beat our culture from them eventually killing thousands? The forced sterilization of Native women? Wounded Knee where hundreds were killed for performing the Ghost Dance?
Am I supposed to feel good about any of these atrocities? Ask a Jew how they feel about the holocaust.
I love my culture and I’m honored to be a Native.
