The chances that you will you be alive for the 300th Anniversary of America

America will be a third world Marxist dictatorship by then.
By then the Muslims will be in control the European countries.
They will start a nuclear war and kill half of humanity.
I am glad that I had the privilege to grow up during the 60s and 70s and experience America in its prime before the Primitive Progressives destroyed it.

And that will be on a good day.

Many people have lived longer than 109 years.

And medical science is advancing very quickly. That could be the norm by the time I'm that age.

Damn your eyes!

No one want to live that long.

At least, no one with any common sense, that is.

117 for me. It could be possible that I may make it. If not for the knees I would be back surfing and the Doctor tells me I am the healthiest over 60 man he has ever met.

I vividly remember lying in the grass at Point State Park (Pittsburgh), watching the incredible fireworks display that they put on in 1976. I didn't really expect to live to see this one; chances of seeing the 300th are nil. I'm 76.

LOL, my great grandmother lived to 103 and was married in the Denver Zoo lions cage as a publicity stunt. They offered my great grandfather $750 to do it. She wouldn't marry him unless he had a dowry. Just a small piece of family trivia.

Yeah, I remember the big party in 1976. It was a good time.

1976 a great time. It is the year I graduated high school. It would be great if my health stayed good and make it the 300th birthday of this nation.

I worked in a machine shop and one of my co-workers made a civil war cannon replica that we fired off at the designated time that Gerald Ford asked us to make noise--I believe it was 11 a.m. PDT. Stuffed that sucker with a small bag of powder and packed it with newspaper.

I remember the Bicentennial coins. I used to have a few, but I don't know what happened to them.

If I remember right, a buffalo was born on July 4, and they named her "Tennial". Her entire formal name was Bison Tennial. I looked for anything I could find about her, but haven't found anything, even where she was born.
