Surprised that the medical lab was closed today for Juneteenth

Juntenth is the only "Independence Day" I celebrate. But until brother Hellbilly and others of his people are truly free, there is no American Independence Day. We are on year 250 of the occupation of this land by the white man, and don't try that, why don't you go back to Africa stuff, because the white man has no right to tell anyone else to leave.

Considering we Natives were not granted citizenship until 1924, the July 4th holiday means absolutely nothing to me. That being said I never criticize anyone who does celebrate it.
 
When I pulled on the bank door and it did not open this morning. I thought something was wrong with the door. :laugh:

In fairness to me, there was no sign posted on it, either.

I think it takes a lot of hutzpah for whites to think they could grant your people citizenship in a land they were living in before whites came here. I feel the same way about the fourth as you. What I don't like is how the MAGAT types think they can force people to see America only the way they tell us.

Medical labs should be like police stations, never closed, always someone there to provide essential services. They could give some of the staff off and pay a few extra to keep the place open.
