That is correct, however, as soon as the public realizes the cost of what the admin is doing, that will change. Already the utilities realize that wind and solar are the future, and that nuclear is far to expensive.Solar power and other renewable fuels will take a hit with the trump regime. LOL Far from cheaper. Solar and wind are the least expensive and most sustainable way to generate electricity. About half the cost of fossil fuels, and way cheaper that super expensive nuclear.Of course, cheaper and more reliable should be everyone's favorite.

Why abandon the capital investment? Because that's not making sense. The money was already spent.Wrong TACO breath. It is shutting down primarily because there are much better solar technologies out there.

Exactly, the solar farm was built and paid for and now it's all free energy. Why shut this farm now just because new installations are more efficient. Build those and keep producing all that free energy from the solar farm that's been built and paid for.It is shutting down primarily because there are much better solar technologies out there.
I thought any solar energy was better than any fossil fuel energy?
If the greens are right, there should be no reason to ever shut this down.
The fuel is free, after all.

Speaking of twats like Apu, try typing @ab and see whose name doesn't come up.
The AutoPen Administration just spent $3 Billion dollars to "build" 93 electric mail trucks, that's more than the cost of a jet fighter!
How is that helpful?
