Reasons why widespread use of solar power to replace fossil fuels for electricity generation will cause a cooling effect.

Any photons converted into electricity are photons that do not strike the surface of the planet and produce heat and will result in a localized cooling effect.

Replacing fossil fuels with solar power does not cause an increase in waste heat. It causes a reduction in waste heat.

Waste heat does not heat the surface of the planet like photons do.

In other words, the process is photons of light converted to electricity, which is converted to photons of infrared radiation. No gain or loss of heat to the planet.
