At least you can admit your ignorant rants about the FCC are rooted in your TDS hate. It's a good first stepYour devotion to a corrupt liar more than a bit frightening.

I don't think you should be talking about smarts when you are under the belief you have a first amendment right to a broadcast license, and you admitted you aren't interested in a President interested in the truthOf course you have, you’re just not smart enough to realize it.
The FCC is a stand in for Trump. He controls it.At least you can admit your ignorant rants about the FCC are rooted in your TDS hate. It's a good first step
And you bog poopyheadOf course you have, you’re just not smart enough to realize it.
You aren’t smart enough to understand what I’ve written and it shows.I don't think you should be talking about smarts when you are under the belief you have a first amendment right to a broadcast license, and you admitted you aren't interested in a President interested in the truth
I’m trying to educate MAGA. Lord knows their media bubble doesn’t want them to learn. And you bog poopyhead
Maybe Congress should of thought of that back in 1934 when they created the law.Letting the president be the arbiter of news distortion opens the door to suppression of speech and corrupt abuse of office.
Yup. Your TDS hate reaches down to the janitors at the local SS administration office in Reseda. The FCC is a stand in for Trump. He controls it.
And that is exactly what happened during Covid, the government tried to control the narrative and both examples are wrong and both examples needed and need to be stopped immediately. So Trump determines what the truth is.
It’s not a ministry of truth, it’s just dictates from a central authority.
QEDI’m trying to educate MAGA. Lord knows their media bubble doesn’t want them to learn.
They thought the FCC would be an independent agency, but that’s out the window now. Trump is the first president to have assumed 100% control over the FCC.Maybe Congress should of thought of that back in 1934 when they created the law.
but, frankly I think they likely wanted a President to be interested in the truth and wanted one willing to enforce the law, because they thought broadcast networks distorting the news was a bigger threat to our democracy
The difference is that Trump administration is threatening to take government action against broadcasters, which is different than what the Biden administration did.And that is exactly what happened during Covid, the government tried to control the narrative and both examples are wrong and both examples needed and need to be stopped immediately.
Politics shouldn’t matter, saying one was worse than the other is just stupid, any form of government censorship is absolutely unacceptable and should be called out and stopped immediately.
I guess you haven’t paid any attention to the changes in the executive branch.Yup. Your TDS hate reaches down to the janitors at the local SS administration office in Reseda.
They didn’t make it oneThey thought the FCC would be an independent agency, but that’s out the window now. Trump is the first president to have assumed 100% control over the FCC.
Congress never intended for the president to be the arbiter of truth. Trump took that power.
Congress did make one, but Trump decided he didn’t like that and the conservatives on the Supreme Court are going to overturn precedent to let him do it.They didn’t make it one
They could have but didn’t
Try again.
They have for many years. It has happened under both Democrats and Republicans. So you think the government can persecute people for political purposes? That explains lot.
No different, they are both trying to suppress free speech by using political pressure. The difference is that Trump administration is threatening to take government action against broadcasters, which is different than what the Biden administration did.
“Pressure” is a meaningless weasel word.No different, they are both trying to suppress free speech by using political pressure.
Both sides do it and both need to be called out, wrong is wrong no matter the tactic.
Where in the stat does it say it’s a mn independent agency?Congress did make one, but Trump decided he didn’t like that and the conservatives on the Supreme Court are going to overturn precedent to let him do it.
Like the Fairness Doctrine?“Pressure” is a meaningless weasel word.
There’s a difference between identifiable threats of government action and not.
