The money went to the Trump PAC not the. Campaign due to campaign contribution limits.

You know that right?

Oh, so he was wrong? They can't contribute to campaigns?

Thanks!

Under Citizen's United they can contribute unlimited funds to support campaigns. They give the money to the PAC supporting the candidate. Technically there are finance limits to the Candates Campaign Committee (as their official election entity), but they can make unlimited contributions to the campaign through a PAC (unofficial elelction entity).

Hey, $270 Million to buy a President when your company already gets Billions in government contracts so you can get a competators contract canceled and get another contract worth Billions...

Thats's a hell of ROI (Return On Investment).

Cheap at twice the price.

Jul 3, 2024 — The private prison behemoth GEO Group became the first corporation whose PAC maxed out to former President Donald Trump's campaign in late February.
The private prison behemoth GEO Group became the first corporation whose PAC maxed out to former President Donald Trump’s campaign in late February, according to a CREW analysis of campaign finance records. That same month, the company used a subsidiary to give an additional $500,000 to a pro-Trump super PAC.

The $5,000 contribution that GEO Group’s PAC gave to Trump’s campaign was part of a larger $15,000 contribution it gave to the Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee, a PAC that raises money for Trump’s campaign and his leadership PAC, Save America, which has spent tens of millions of dollars on Trump’s legal bills. On the same day, the JFC also reported receiving two contributions of $11,600 each from two GEO Group executives, founder and board chairman George Zoley and CEO Brian Evans.

Damn, you're so dumb you make AOC look smart.

That's a lot of money. Not as much as Kamala wasted, eh?

How much of Musk's money went to Trump's Presidential campaign?
Most if not all. What’s your point?

He deserves payback on that investment … no?

You now he doesn't acknowledge that Trumps PAC's were part of his campaign so that money given to a PAC (donation not restricted by campaign finance laws) to elect Trump is different than the official Presidential Campaign Committee that must comply federal campaign finance laws?

My point is, you're wrong, most of Musk's money did not go
to the Trump Presidential Campaign.
