They (if never worked one day in the USA) can use the work history (40 quarters to qualify, yet our payment is based on 35 years, but I digress) of other "immigrants" in the household. Perhaps it is hidden under SSI supplemental or other BS. But yes....it has been going on. For how long? Then they dump all incoming money into the general fund and spend all of it right away. Yes, currently they pay out SS. But when income to them drops (or other expenses increase: Interest costs, Ukraine, Illegals etc.) it may impact how much available to pay out to SS recipients.
