Baroness Warnock: Dementia sufferers may have a 'duty to die' - TelegraphThe veteran Government adviser said pensioners in mental decline are "wasting people's lives" because of the care they require and should be allowed to opt for euthanasia even if they are not in pain.
She insisted there was "nothing wrong" with people being helped to die for the sake of their loved ones or society.
The 84-year-old added that she hoped people will soon be "licensed to put others down" if they are unable to look after themselves.
What NHC proponents never tell you is:
When the market controls healthcare patients are a source of revenue. The more customers you have the more capital you can generate and re-invest.
When government controls healthcare every patient is a burden on limitted resources.
Liberalism, if left to its own leftist devises would exterminate itself. Even with the vast resources and human capital at its disposal the Soviet Union lasted only 70 chaotic and blood-soaked years. As it stands liberalism--ike its constituent welfare queens--depends on others for its support. If not for market societies to vilianize and hypocritically tax liberalism would be bereft of the power it needs: other people's money.
But once entrenched they invariably resort to the form that spells their own doom: death, starvation and bankruptcy. It is absolutely stunning that the phiosophy that so vehemently eschews religion is such an abject Darwinian failure.
