For all chess players... chess.com is a widespread huge app. I've used it time-to-time throughout my life (it's been a year or 2). Once you setup an account, you can have invitation 1 vs. 1 matchups. If we collaborate on here, we could have occasional tournaments, as the games would be played on the app and results would be reported here.

If nobody's in, no worries. If we get 4, 8, 12 players.. we could make a bracket... do a round robin, or make some sort of league. I can guarantee I wouldn't be the ace of the group, even though I love chess.

Sure, if you get enough players count me in.

I like chess but aren't we not supposed to be discussing different websites on here?

How about a USMB Poker game?

Everybody begin with $100 worth of virtual chips (that cost exactly nothing)...but when your chips are gone...you're out!

No money...but whoever wins could have some awesome bragging rights! :D

Ever play yatzee? The poker hands are the same (almost).

Here's the order.

1 pair (lowest)
2 pair
3 of a kind
Straight (7-8-9-10-J)
Flush (all clubs)
Full house (say 2-kings and 3-7's).
4 of a kind
Straight Flush (highest)

Yeah, I know Yahtzee but I think that I would have to see it all laid out first.

Now here is what makes poker fun...you can win by bluffing!

You could have the worst hand in poker (2-3-4-5-7)...7 high. And you can bet BIG like you have a straight-flush (because nobody knows the cards you're holding)...so if they all drop out you win the pot...even though you had the worst hand in poker history :D

Haven't played in a while, but I'm game.

I already knew that you could bluff in the game.

Same.

I mean to have all the pieces and parts and to watch the game being played first lol as I learn better by watching. :)

They way I've taught people is a pull out a cup full of change & tell everybody to leave their money in their pockets...I hand out the change & we play...then no matter who wins, at the end of the night all the change comes back to me.

Nobody loses money...everybody learns how to play.

YEAH!!!! Now you're speaking my language!! :D

Do they have a virtual rock em sock em robots?
