Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) Claims Drones are Iranian

The FAA says these "drones" are small private manned aircraft. These "drones" are not stealth capable and would show up like a semi-truck on radar if they were high enough, which most of the time they seem to be.
There are not that many Cessna 172 / Piper Comanche type aircraft Flyin outta the Greater NJ / Philly / Upstate / Long Island Region on any given 24 hour period that do what these sighted objects do and many have unusual light configurations compared to traditional Small Manned Aircraft

It was reported in media that more sensitive radar was being brought in.......to detect these drones as big as a car.
Small aircraft would show up on radar, no reason a car sized object wouldn't unless it had stealth.

Really? Are professionals in aviation observing these "drones"? Most are probably soccer Moms in their minivans, taking the kids out for ice cream. Either that, or Dads staggering out of the bar after a long hard day at work and a good buzz going. They probably have the same reaction as my mother did when first save an AV-8B Harrier making a landing approach at our airport. She would have sworn she had seen a UFO because it was an airplane that hovered.

Every photo I have seen is either miles away or obscured by clouds/fog. I saw one that was plainly an air ambulance helicopter.

I have not seen any unusual light configurations in any of the photos I have seen. Got an example handy?

I usually see one white light at a distance, consistent with landing lights on commercial aircraft in the landing pattern.

Didn't look like this did it?

Only problem is video shown on the media, show these bogeys flitting around quickly, making abrupt changes in direction not consistent with a landing pattern.

We had State Police standing on a beach and counting 50 drones come in off the ocean and chasing a Coast Guard Cutter

If it is a drone operated by a foreign country the size is not important

Even the smallest drones can be lethal

Or they can spy
Sure. But do you know how many drones there are out there? I have at least four friends that own drones. Several pretty large
