Most of those are executive orders and regulations...I thought you said legislation
One piece is he made the Bush tax cuts permanent.....you forgot that one
and yeah he did bailout large multinational corporations......so you disagree with Bernie Sanders?
I didn't forget. I posted it in #8.

Republicans blackmailed Obama into extending the Bush Tax cuts.

They said they would cut unemployment benefits for millions of Americans who lost their jobs after the GOP ruined the economy. Not only did the GOP cost millions their jobs, but they threatened Obama with ruining those people's lives if Obama didn't extend the Bush Tax Cuts. Democrats want to help Americans. Notice you can't find Republican policies that help any more than billionaires and corporations. Look at the guy in post #6. He makes it quite clear who the "important" people are. Typical Republican.

Obama extended the Bush Tax Cuts because Democrats up for reelection to the House and Senate made it quite clear to Barry that if he let the tax cuts expire the economy would be further weakened and that they wouldn't be able to get elected Dog Catcher!
Not true. I posted a link. Republicans said publicly, no Tax extension, no unemployment benefits.
It's like when Republicans blocked Obama from investigating BP after their horrific spill in the Gulf.

And yet despite all of those wonderful things (eye roll)...the bottom line is that Obama oversaw the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression...increased the National Debt more than any other President in history...and screwed up the Middle East so bad that a rag tag terror group took over a huge swath of territory and caused a massive refugee crisis as millions were forced to flee for their lives!

In comparison...Trump is overseeing an economy that has been growing so strongly that the Fed has had to raise interest rates four times since he was elected!
Look at the economy Bush and the GOP handed Obama.
Then look at the economy Obama handed Trump.
Barely into Obama's first term, the DOW was at 7,000 and unemployment was at 10%.
When Obama handed it to Trump, the DOW was at 20,000 and unemployment was a 4%.
And Obama did a terrible job?

We know you hate the black president, but how do you get around the facts?

Gotta play the race card already, R-Derp?

Pointing out that Obama oversaw the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression doesn't make me a "racist" no matter how hard you try to push that narrative! The fact is...Barack Obama was never good at job creation. Jobs were created during his administration but for the most part that was despite his policies not because of them! The biggest boon to the economy during his two terms was the energy boom created by fracking technologies that Obama lobbied AGAINST!

All may judge for themselves as to how major or important they find these suffice it to say it's selective depending on ones viewpoint.
These are the bills Trump signed into law in his first year as President - CNNPolitics
Hilarious. Did you actually read through them?

Few help a lot of people, and the ones that do start off with "Bipartisan", like:

This bipartisan law "establishes requirements for the Department of Justice (DOJ) with respect to investigating and prosecuting elder abuse crimes and enforcing elder abuse laws." These requirements include the creation of a working group and comprehensive training for FBI agents. It also enhances victim assistance and aims to improve data collection.

Most are "rolling back Obama era laws".

Look at this one:

This measure rolls back an Obama-era regulation aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of some severely mentally ill people. The regulation, finalized in December 2016, required the Social Security Administration to disclose information quarterly to the national gun background check system about certain people with mental illness.

This legislation nixes an Obama-era regulation meant to protect federal waterways from coal-mining waste.

And there is a bunch like this. It's a "feel good" policy. Develop a strategy, but nothing about implementation:

This act is aimed at promoting women's roles "in conflict prevention, management, and resolution and post-conflict relief and recovery efforts" by mandating that Trump administration develop and implement a "Women, Peace, and Security Strategy."

Then there are memorials like this:

This law arranges for former Sen. Bob Dole to receive the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honor bestowed by Congress. He was awarded the honor during a ceremony in January 2018.

There are ones that are just hilarious. Like this:

This law requires the General Services Administration (GSA) to implement regulations that allow for reimbursement for travel using "innovative mobility technology" such as Uber, Lyft or bike-share programs.

What's missing are laws that actually help millions of Americans. Like school lunches for poor children. Where are the laws helping children. Healthcare for children. Education.

Why? Because Republicans don't help regular people. They help billionaires and corporations. And most Republicans are honest enough to admit it.

Republicans will scream LIAR LIAR LIAR. But if they can only agree he did three things that helped the majority of Americans, then that's three more than the GOP under Bush or Trump.
.
But what did Obama do for the important people in the U.S.?

Did he give them a massive tax cut? No!
Did he deregulate Wall Street so the important people could screw small investors? NO!
Did he do anything to permanently increase CEO's quarterly bonuses? NO!

Go ahead, name one single item Obama did to help the important people of the U.S. You can't, because Obama only did things that hurt the poor, oppressed 0.1%.

.
We have a different idea of "important people".

Did he give them a massive tax cut? No! - Bush did that with the Bush Tax Cuts which Republicans blackmailed Obama into extending:
Unemployment benefits: not until Bush tax cuts pass, Senate GOP says

Did he deregulate Wall Street so the important people could screw small investors? NO! - Bush and the GOP did that. It's what led to Economic meltdown under Bush.

Did he do anything to permanently increase CEO's quarterly bonuses? NO! - Why bother after giving them enormous tax cuts?

To me, the rest of America is more important than a few thousand billionaires. It's sad you don't feel that way.

.
My response to your post was...satirical. The "important people" mentioned are important to themselves, the GOP, (a few a$$-kissing congressional Democrats), and conservatives.

Obama's goals were to help average Americans, not serve the needs of the over-privileged.

His goals, and the fact that he is African-American and a Democrat, are the reasons conservatives hate his guts, and would rather die than accept universal healthcare from a black man.

.

So if they don't help us , why are my cigars , taxes so low???

Why the fuck don't I live up in Illinois?
To pay for the healthcare you won't be able to afford Jan 1st.

And many, many more.
Most important - avoided scandal.

His goals, and the fact that he is African-American and a Democrat, are the reasons conservatives hate his guts, and would rather die than accept universal healthcare from a black man.

.

He never helped anyone , he got in the fucking way..

Satire or not, Republicans do see billionaires and CEO's as the only really important people in the United States. Their policies prove it.

Yeah I read through it and as I said people can judge for themselves how important they consider them. I will remind you the only piece of legislation Obama got passed in his fisrt two years in office than remembers is Obamacare and he had bigger majorities in the House and Senate than Trump does now.
Not for two years. Ted Kennedy died and Republican centerfold model Scott Brown took over his seat.

Got in the way of Republican tax cuts for billionaires?
Come on, admit it. Republicans don't help the poor or the middle class in this country.

America has never seen a party less caring than 21st-century Republicans

Since Trump took office, Republicans have proposed legislation to destroy unions, the healthcare system, the education system and the Environmental Protection Agency; to defund the reproductive health charity Planned Parenthood and restrict abortion; to stifle public protest and decimate arts funding; to increase the risk of violence against trans people and roll back anti-discrimination laws; and to funnel more and more wealth from the poorest to the richest. Every executive order and piece of GOP legislation is destructive, aimed at dismantling something else, never creating anything new, never in the service of improving the care of the nation.
l.

President Trump made it clear during the campaign what he was going to do when he got in.

The people gave him a mandate, and he's been working on it the best he can.
