Simpsons poke fun at democrats...

my hubby and I are Simpsons fans, and of course, we have the dvd's with seasons 1-4 on them. I was watching one of them last night and I watched the one where Grandpa Simpson gets an Emmy for the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons, and he wonders why. Bart says "Grandpa, didn't you wonder why you got paid for doing nothing all day?"
Grandpa says "No. I thought the democrats were in power again"

Haha one of my favs was when the police were taking away side show bob and he was yelling "One day the Democrats will be in power again and ill be a free man"

Haha and you have to love Homer and Barts rivalry with the Bush's

Funny how he then gets out to run for mayor of springfield as the republican candidate. The Simpsons hit both sides.
