Shocking number of young Americans say other countries are better

I don't have to support every little thing he does to support him for President...That's how Democrats do things...

Yes you do or you wouldn't vote for Trump.

That's just ridiculous....I asked you earlier if you were a socialist, you claimed infaticly "No".... And, I said you support Bernie...Well, that would have been like me saying because you support Bernie, you ARE a socialist....

These word games have been played for years now. I am no longer interested.

Just as you have ideas, and platform points you like about Sanders, but maybe not every little thing, same goes for me...I have distinct points I like about Trump like less regulation, and more emphisis on growing business, and attention to military, and economy....I have always been against tarriffs...

So, broad brushing me is a great mistake on your part.

Nah. You can dish it out, you just can't take it.

It's not "word games" Jesus! I am trying to have a civil discussion with you. I was simply pointing out that just as I wouldn't expect you to like, or support every little thing the candidate you support wants to do, the same goes for everyone...In today's political landscape, since we don't attact the best people to run, we have to vote based on what we determine as the lesser bad....

Sanders is a Democratic Socialist. The definition of that is:

Democratic socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically—to meet public needs, not to make profits for a few.

That is something nearly everyone would agree with (even if a few are lying as they wouldn't want people to know otherwise).

And you believe him? A man that took his honeymoon in Moscow? Who does that? What you left out though is that Democratic Socialism also believes that things like the economy should be centerally planned, and that means like it or not Governmental ownership....You can dress it up however you like, but it is theft IMHO.

The economy is centrally planned now. By the Federal Reserve. They decide who wins and who loses. I'll take these complaints seriously when we end the Reserve. Until then I'm going with the side fighting to make things more fair.

The findings showed that within the age group of 19-29, 47 percent of adult Democrat and Democrat-leaning individuals believe that there are other countries better than the United States, while within the same age group, 19 percent of Republican and Republican-leaning individuals agree. That leaves only 53 percent of young Democrats who prefer the United States to any other country, while 81 percent of young Republicans favor America.

Shocking number of young Americans say other countries are better

Why are taxpayers still subsidising these progressive bastions of America hate? This is what you're sending your kids off to come back as?

Why are you still falling for stories from that fake web site?

It's just a poll...Gheeze....Something to discuss....Whether or not you put any stock in the poll itself, if you've been out anywhere over the past couple of years, and talked to any young person (college age) about what they lean toward as their vision of America as they become the ones controlling the levers of power in this country, many idealize notions like Socialism as benevelant, and proper....That, as someone who is aging, scares the hell out of me.

Wealth is made and lost daily...There are new millionaires, just as there are those that fall from that status....Under a Socialist viewpoint, that ceases unless one is connected to the political class in power....The great vision of this country, and what makes us great is NOT that you have a right to equality of outcome, but that you have equality of opprotunity....If you feel that our society has been "unfair" to you, then it's up to YOU....NOT up to me to subsidize your so that your life is easier....

Sanders wanting us out of the war only hurts the war mongers. I'm good with that. Sanders wanting everyone to be able to affordably access health care helps everyone but overwhelmingly helps the poor. I'm good with that.

Millionaires are being made because of the centrally planned Federal Reserve but you have to already have to get.

Not true...all you need is a product, or idea that people want....You think Bill Gates was already wealthy when he started? What you are displaying is that you don't think you have it to succeed, so you need society to "give" you what you believe you are due...1. That's not how it is, and 2. You can do it, just come up with something and work hard.

Pew Research is a "fake" web site? Since when? :dunno:

The Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan American think tank (referring to itself as a "fact tank") based in Washington, D.C. It provides information on social issues, public opinion, and demographic trends shaping the United States and the world.[3] It also conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, media content analysis, and other empirical social science research. The Pew Research Center does not take policy positions, and is a subsidiary of The Pew Charitable Trusts.[4][5]

You folks are arguing over a false dichotomy.

I have had this conversation with a friend.

As TPTB own all elite politicians, it is a worthless conversation. In effect, and in the end, pknopp will get what he desires, as Trump is a clandestine democratic socialist.

No, the folks you think aren't socialists are elite rulers. The folks you think are socialists are elite rulers.

They all have one goal, complete and total control.

If you think it is about "who benefits" or that they give a shit about the people? You are fooling yourself.

If you think there is a disagreement about the final goals of the system, you are fooling yourself.

They all believe in the same thing, the final goals of Plato's Republic.

Trump "claims" he has rejected the Green Agenda and the Paris climate accord, and the global socialists "claim" it is about climate change and global warming, but both sides are lying.

Trump is busy doing the work of the global elites, get ready for a time when he will no longer be the face of the ruling elites. . . when it is a liberal in charge, they will implement their plans, a total surveillance grid. Complete global technocracy, ostensibly in the name of preventing "climate catastrophe." But what it is really about is complete control of every single person on the planet.

. . and if this were not the truth, Trump would not be busy using the clandestine agencies subverting governments and fighting to corner the world's market on Lithium, the most important material in the new age. Used in every advanced tech device and battery.

Nope....And there is little difference between the two IMHO, when you have the government (centeralized control) over free market.....These are age old debates, and won't stop regardless of whether or not you are tired of arguing it...

In that instance there is a lot of lying going around. i'll not argue any different.

This is why it gets old..........I already addressed this. Sanders is a Democratic Socialist, not a Socialist. There is a wide difference. That isn't going to stop you though is it?
You don't even know what Dirigisme is, do you? There is no such thing as "Democratic Socialism." You are either using Socialism, where the government owns the industry, or you are using Dirgisme.

Your ideas do not work in a society such as ours. You need to build a cabin in the woods like Ted K. did.
