Through NCAR, scientists gain access to high-performance computational and observational facilities, such as supercomputers, aircraft and radar - resources researchers need to improve human understanding of atmospheric and Earth system processes. NCAR also houses the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Strategic Initiative, an interdisciplinary effort to foster collaborative science, spatial data interoperability, and knowledge sharing with GIS, within the field of atmospheric research.

CReSIS was established by the NSF in 2005 and is headquartered at the University of Kansas. The Center uses a variety of geographic tools and technologies (including Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, and spatial statistics) to complement its goal of measuring and predicting the response of sea level change to the mass balance of ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica.

You’re so smart, but you still don’t get it. AGW is a problem, not because it’s getting warmer ( average not peak) but because it’s getting warmer at a faster rate then our species can adapt. The rate of change is dramatic after the industrial revolution. HS calculous And an understanding of evolution makes the evidence meaningful. You’ll never get it because deniers don’t know math and science.

Interglacial cycles easily happen at a rate slow Enough for species to adapt. Since the industrial revolution The rate of change In average temps has accelerated dramatically.

I never claimed to be smart. We can't adapt to 1 deg per 100 years? How warm and fast do you think it will get?

How ever do you survive in the summer? It gets really hot really fast in the summer.

Let me ask you this... do you know how much CO2 the US emits per year? If I told you that we could go to zero overnight and the rest of the world would replace what we were emitting in 5 years, would you believe me?

I know the average peak temperature may be confusing but it denotes the average temperature that was the highest during the interglacial cycle.
