Shuttering research facilities producing inconvenient truths.

Why weren't you concerned about all the mountains of lies coming from democrats?

Trust these numbers? Economists see a lot of flaws in delayed CPI report showing downward inflation

Thursday saw the release of a much lighter-than-expected consumer price report for November, breaking from the recent trend of sticky inflation.

Stocks jumped. Yields fell. Odds of a Federal Reserve rate increased.

And many economists scratched their heads.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the consumer price index had an annual inflation rate of 2.7% last month, while core CPI – a measure that excludes volatile food and energy prices – was even lower at 2.6%. Both were below than what economists had been estimating, as those polled by Dow Jones called for an annual headline rate of 3.1% and a rate on core CPI of 3%.

All politicians lie. No politician has ever come close to the fire hose of lies from trump and this regime.

Dotard found another way to target CO in retribution for Gov. Polis refusing to pardon convicted criminal and trump acolyte Tina Peters.

DENVER — Colorado leaders are calling on President Donald Trump to reconsider the denial of disaster declaration requests the state made to help with recovery from severe flooding and wildfires this past year.
According to a news release from Democratic Gov. Jared Polis's office, the denials were issued late Saturday night. Disaster declarations would unlock funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to assist with the recovery from the natural disasters.

He's retired now, but he's still extremely disappointed to see a place he spent most of his professional career be closed for political reasons.

When a place like that becomes political, that's what can happen.
"research" is code for Dem money scam and no show jobs.

Trump Administration Plans to Break Up Premier Weather and Climate Research Center

The Trump administration said it will be dismantling the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, one of the world’s leading Earth science research institutions.

The center, founded in 1960, is responsible for many of the biggest scientific advances in humanity’s understanding of weather and climate. Its research aircraft and sophisticated computer models of the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans are widely used in forecasting weather events and disasters around the country, and its scientists study a broad range of topics, including air pollution, ocean currents and global warming.

But in a social media post announcing the move late on Tuesday, Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, called the center “one of the largest sources of climate alarmism in the country” and said that the federal government would be “breaking up” the institution.

A friend of mine was part of a Nobel winning team of climate scientists who worked at NCAR. He's retired now, but he's still extremely disappointed to see a place he spent most of his professional career be closed for political reasons. The people who worked there were involved in the kind of scientific research Don finds uncomfortable, so it must be stopped.

Scientists, meteorologists and lawmakers said the move was an attack on critical scientific research and would harm the United States.

And so it goes.
Perhaps don't play politics with the science

There is some reporting in the Denver Post, based on an unnamed regime official, that this is retribution for Gov. Polis refusing to pardon trump loyalist Tina Peters.
Retribution knows no bounds.

Veto of Water Project Is Trump’s Latest Targeted Hit on Colorado

The president seems to be at war with the Democratic-led state as he raises the pressure on Colorado leaders to release a convicted election denier, Tina Peters, from state prison.

Like everything else, needs fixing.

I can't believe we're "targeting" CO2
seems babyish to me.
