What could have made it "fairer", poster j-mac?
I don't mean to present that question to just the poster 'j-mac'.
To anybody, what could have made the J6 Select Committee hearings fairer?

How about by the rules as in the past? Instead of a dem circus….Thats a start----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were the hearings "fair"?
Yes.
Remarkably so given the machinations to get it organized and the hurdles that had been erected to hinder them.

They tried that. McConnell would only agree on people that were subjects of the investigation itself. So go whine to him.How about by the rules as in the past? Instead of a dem circus….Thats a start

They tried that. McConnell would only agree on people that were subjects of the investigation itself. So go whine to him.
And he did that on purpose, knowing no normal human being would agree to his outrageous and unethical demand.
And he did that so he could fool you into thinking the hearings were fake, so that you wouldn't watch.
McConnell thinks you are stupid and gullible.
Don't forget that.
Nonsense…Pelosi didn’t want her little smear machine exposed by having to put Republicans she couldn’t control on the committee, so she stacked it.They tried that. McConnell would only agree on people that were subjects of the investigation itself. So go whine to him.

So do this, poser j-mac, do some research. Google is your friend.
But, lemme give you a leg-up, a steer, a hint:
1. There was, at first, a bi-partisan movement to create a non-partisan group ala' the Kennedy assassination Commission; and the 9/11 investigation. A committee comprised of experts in their field and with no partisan commitments. That was the first impulse (go ahead, google it).
2. But Republican, McCarthy and McConnell, backed off of their initial support of a non-partisan high-level panel of experts.
3. So next ...and it took a vote in Congress to override Republican leaderships's objections.....but the 'next' was a House Committee made up of half/half R's & D's.
4. So each Party submitted their candidates for this bi-partisan committee.
However, Kevin McCarthy submitted his list of candidates with a couple of ringers. Reps who were witnesses. Even, as alleged, participants in the conspiracy to steal the election from Biden. Reps who would likely be called to testify as witnesses under oath. People like Jim Jordan and Jim Banks. Clearly, there was a conflict of interest with Jordan and Banks. Other Reps on the list were loyal and steadfast Republicans but not likely to be called as witnesses, like Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong, Troy Nehls.
5. Pelosi, as Speaker, accepted three, and rejected Jordan & Banks for the clear conflict of interest they posed if they were witnesses and Committee members too.
6. McCarthy then pulled ALL of his candidates and said he wouldn't participate.
7. Enter then Kissinger and Cheney....and hence, we have a bi-partisan Committee of clearly responsible legislators who took their obligation to the American people seriously.
8. The rest is history. And America is grateful for the careful and thorough work the J6 Committee performed for America.

It’s a perfectly normal response to arrogant rhetoric like yours. And, once again, we have another example of MAGA's education, and sense of civic responsibility. Not to mention their articulateness and maturity.
It is what it is, America is a big-tent society and we tolerate that sad level of citizenship. Making America Great .....with the f-bomb as their answer to everything.
I owe you nothing dumbass.
