I picked up a 1995 Beretta M9 Special Edition and a couple of Cold Steel knives this morning.
The M9 was a find....They made a special commercial run starting in 1995 (M9-0001 - M9-010000) and the early ones like my example were almost identical to the .mil issue M9 other than a C mark on the hammer and barrel to denote commercial sale.
The special serials had a M9 prefix, this one was #M9 02XX. The early ones came with .mil issue Beretta mags with metal followers, later ones regular Beretta commercial mags. I don't think this one has been fired since it was proofed.
I've no idea when the 10K point was reached but omissions had been made by the end of the Special production.
The two Cold Steel blades are a Tiapan "dagger" and a Trailmaster "Bowie"......Both still have the factory edge.
I gave $525.00 for the lot.
