How is it that you studied law in college but don’t understand that Hutchinson doesn’t have to prove anything? Why do you care? When she faces cross examination, she has the burden of proof.
And no, it has not been explained to me many times. I studied law in college, so I am well aware of reasonable doubt.
If it happens, she goes on trial, it better not happen in DC.
The driver was there and he did testify to the committee. He flat out said she is wrong. He said, THEY said.
Hutchinson wasn't the only person to testify that Ornato told this story, nor was he the only person to tell this story, per testimony to the committee.
"Ornato does not recall that he conveyed the information to Cassidy Hutchinson regarding the SUV, and also does not recall that he conveyed similar information to a White House employee with national security responsibilities who testified that Ornato recalled a similar account to him," according to the executive summary released by the committee. The committee went on to say they are "skeptical" of Ornato's account, and obtained evidence from several sources about a "furious interaction" in Mr. Trump's SUV, following his address to supporters.

In testimony to Jan. 6 committee, former White House deputy chief of staff Anthony Ornato said he didn't recall heated motorcade interaction with Trump
"I don't recall any conversation taking place about the possible movement of the president to the Capitol," Anthony Ornato testified.www.cbsnews.com
Under cross she has to testify. How is it that you studied law in college but don’t understand that Hutchinson doesn’t have to prove anything?
She wouldn’t even have to testify.
Oops Pedo Joe forgot one. Or is she some sort of behind the scenes kingpin they all hate and wanted to leave twisting in the wind? There is no doubt this is some sort of Eyes Wide Shut satanic club. Cassidy is f*cked because she has been directly called a liar by Secret Service agents who were in the presidential limo on J6 who say she is full of sh*t. As well as the person she attributes the hearsay testimony too, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Anthony Ornato.
Hutchinson is the one who said to the J6 Committee that Trump reached forward and grabbed for the steering wheel of the limo when the driver said he would not take him to the Capitol to calm down the rioters. Ridiculous on its face because that limo is huge inside and Trump does not have an arm that is six feet long.
We know Liz Cheney illegally destroyed the testimony transcripts, but we can always call them to the stand again.
This is open and shut. If Pam Bondi does not prosecute this unpardoned swamp creature for lying to Congress, then we know for sure she is Deep State too and part of the problem, like a lot of people are already saying since here we are three months in and still no one has been arrested or perp walked. Calls for her to resign will be justified. It would be an important case because it would send the message to not rest too comfortably if you are going to participate in a monstrous "insurrection" lie that ends up putting peacefully protesting Americans (most were) in jail. Five of them killed themselves.
The Hill:
“It’s also interesting, I think, to look at those he didn’t pardon,” [Congressman Barry Loudermilk] added, mentioning star Jan. 6 select committee witness Cassidy Hutchinson."
The Hill:
"House GOP report debunks ex-Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony on ex-prez trying to wrangle SUV to Jan. 6 panel"
"Hutchinson, who at the time was an aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, testified to the select committee that she was told Trump had shouted: “I’m the f—ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now!” before he tried to grab the steering wheel from the driver in a desperate effort to join his supporters marching towards the Capitol.
Loudermilk’s report notes that Hutchinson’s testimony was “directly refuted” by White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Anthony Ornato – the man who according to Hutchinson, told her the anecdote – and the Secret Service agent driving the SUV.
“Ornato testified that the first time he had ever heard the story Hutchinson claims Ornato told her on January 6, was during Hutchinson’s public testimony,” the oversight subcommittee report states.
“Hutchinson’s testimony was also contradicted by the [Secret Service] agent who was with President Trump on January 6,” the subcommittee found, which notes that “Hutchinson’s accusation came up only after the Secret Service agent’s attorney proactively brought up the subject” to select committee investigators.
Hutchinson’s testimony was debunked by several witnesses, including the driver of the Secret Service SUV.
“The driver testified that he specifically refuted the version of events as recounted by Hutchinson,” according to the report. “The driver of the SUV testified that he ‘did not see him reach [redacted]. [President Trump] never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all.’”
The select committee “hid the driver’s full testimony and only favorably mentioned his testimony in its Final Report, it did not release the full transcript,” Loudermilk’s committee determined. "
The Guardian:
“The testimony of … four White House employees directly contradicts claims made by Cassidy Hutchinson and by the select committee in the final report,” read the report by the House administration subcommittee on oversight, which searched for alleged bias or malpractice in the January 6 investigation.![]()

“None of the White House employees corroborated Hutchinson’s sensational story about President Trump lunging for the steering wheel of the Beast,” the report said, referring to the colloquial name for cars that carry the president."

And you wonder why we call you guys fascist.
Please stop using words you don’t understand.Under cross she has to testify.
The driver who the committee tried to hide, testified her story is fiction.
The point is that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol and was irate when he was told he can’t.The point that really matters is that President Trump had no role in this story.
That's not in dispute in the real world.
The left used the gullibility of the left wing lunatics to push the false narrative.
It was all rehearsd to walk a fine line in the infomercials.
Glad you keep saying if. Sure, do you truly expect her to be investigated and not be charged? She lied to congress. Please stop using words you don’t understand.
If she doesn’t testify, she doesn’t get cross examined.
You don't know that. The driver testified it is false. The point is that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol and was irate when he was told he can’t.
You are right. So, stop democrats from lying.Because she can't. Hutchinson did not lie.
The lying needs to stop.
The point is that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol and was irate when he was told he can’t.
The driver testified that Trump was irate when they told him he couldn’t go to the Capitol. You don't know that. The driver testified it is false.
The driver testified that Trump was irate when they told him he couldn’t go to the Capitol.
Every other witness involved said she did.Because she can't. Hutchinson did not lie.
Dear Lord
The bigger story should be trump throwing a tantrum, cowering down like a cuck, then simply riding back to the WH like a whipped dog without putting up a fight.
