This is how super powers and empires die! Electing idiots that do counter productive shit that end up destroying the nations ability to compete and maintain. Dumb.

Those who whine and cry and stamp their feet about teachers. Why arent they going into the profesdion since thry are experts as they tell us.

For the most part they are glorified babysitters
But who said that they should work for free?

Trump did say he loves the uneducated, they vote for him, and against their own best interests, like nobody's business.

Republicans love it too and are seeking to making dumbness nationwide and permanent in America.

Sorry. The only parochial teacher I have ever had was my accordion teacher.

Good for you! I was an accordionist, until I lost part of my right hand and a finger.

Not too worry. I can still play a mean harmonica.

30% of Americans want immigration decreased, down from 55% a year ago
Record-high 79% consider immigration good for the country
Support down for border wall, mass deportation
Support for Deporting Criminal Illegals 79% support for deporting all illegals 46%

Perhaps most people in the private sector could never tesch right?

Congress has no "power" under the Constitution to spend tax dollars on "education," whatever that is.

The legitimate functions of the DoE are being handed off to other departments, mainly DoJ, which ensures compliance with Federal anti-discrimination laws.

Accountability is key.
And the closer it is to the seller (college), the better.
Maybe the colleges should co-sign the loans from the banks?
I agree the best system is for the schools to be on the hook for financing the education of their students.

As far as private bank-based student loans, I'd rather the colleges put up collateral for student loans, give 'em something to do with those tax-exempt endowments. ;)

Our super power has been in steep decline--some way it was dying--for a long time now.

Doing away with destructive, wasteful or useless government agencies like the Department of Education is an excellent step to reverse that.

Instead of "just" 85%. Cheer up though, slow horse. The new people who get jobs are charter schools will pick up the slack.

PS. Trump does what is right instead of what to do to get votes.
Charter schools' education outcomes are more varied than public schools in product.
